Ski Shores sitter på den populära Upper Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ, med ett öppet vardagsrum / matsal / kök, samt en inomhus sol veranda för enkel avkoppling, alla med spektakulär utsikt över vattnet. Köket har alla nya apparater, en bar med sittplatser och ett stort bord. Utomhus, en ny båtdocka (färdigställd juli 2017), har en täckt båtslip med lyft (betygsatt till 6000 lbs), en dubbel jet ski ramp, samt en övre soldäck. Två gratis kajaker är tillgängliga för gästanvändning. En däck sträcker sig över baksidan av hemmet, vilket är perfekt för uteservering och tittar på soluppgången. En skuggad bakgård är en perfekt plats för barn och husdjur att springa runt och leka.

Detta hem har ett utmärkt läge vid stranden av floden Colorado, perfekt för vattenglädje, inklusive kajakpaddling, stand-up paddleboarding, segling, simning, fiske och mycket mer! We booked this house for Thanksgiving. It was a great house. Very accommodating. Great communication with hosts. Loved the location. Everyone had fun with the game table and fishing. Kids even did a polar plunge. We will be back. Beds are a little hard but some people like that. Our son left early because he likes a softer bed but my husband was happy with it so it’s a personal preference. It definitely needs a big skillet, and some casserole pans if you plan on cooking. A pitcher for tea etc would be a nice addition. The internet was hit or miss with several people using it, but it was not missed with the other activities. Overall it was a great place.

This home was perfect for family. The home was located on the Colorado arm of the lake and provided a great dock with a lift that kept our boat from being banged around on a busy holiday weekend. The dock was also a perfect place for the kids to jump from, swim and fish. The giant pecan tree kept the whole yard & dock shaded, so no sunburns. The 5 grandchildren loved the kids room and the other rooms were comfortable enough for adults. For 9 people, we needed the 3 bathrooms too. The kitchen needed some organizing but we eventually found what we needed. We will not hesitate renting this home again.

Nice home on the water. We enjoyed our visit and were able to relax. The only things that needed improvement with this rental: there was no dish soap or paper towels in the kitchen, the house needed a deep clean (cobwebs, cabinet doors and baseboards dusty), no laundry soap provided (check out instructions ask you to start a load of laundry) and the check out time is 10 am. There is a way to get an extended check out time of 2 pm but it is not offered until the day before your trip and costs about 100.

Roomy clean house, nice view

We enjoyed our time here - the house felt more spacious than photos revealed and it was clean and kids loved the ping pong, pool and foosball tables. Kitchen was decently stocked but could have used a big pot, etc for cooking for large groups. Note the neighbors are super close - they were super friendly but one side was blasting music for a while, changing the atmosphere outside. The water was nice but a bit too busy for kayaking.

We will be back. Plenty of room for the family. Kitchen equipped. Boat dock was nice to come in and out of the lake. Good A/C. TV’s and fans in every room. Major key in Texas.

Nice and then not

Stayed September 11-16 with family. House is fine, kitchen could use organizing and additions but we got meals done. Beds are firm/ hard and sheets are thin but again do the job. This was our second time to this home and sadly I am unsure if we will return. We love that they allow dogs because one of ours loves the water. Property managed both times by Vacasa and the customer service is now outsourced. We lost hot water completely on Saturday. After texting with customer service, troubleshooting for 30 minutes then calling and insisting on someone local we got maintenance and a new water heater. Locals are wonderful and I was very pleased with them. We lost Saturday evening dealing with this and had icy showers. We asked for compensation for interruption and frustration. Vacasa felt it didn’t warrant it. They never reached out to see if it was resolved and my email request was answered by text saying problem had been fixed with no consideration for the inconvenience.This is true but bad customer service.

Family river weekend

Nice weekend for our family. Everyone loved the foosball table! We took a water mat and tied to the dock and the older kids loved it! Note to families with little ones. The river was very busy this weekend so there was a lot of wake action. The grandkids aged 8,6 and 5 loved it! It was a little too much for the 3 year olds. One small suggestion would be to provide more plastic plates for eating on the sundeck (and for the little ones inside too).

Quick Getaway

Spent 2 nights at this house. It was much bigger than I expected. Kids loved the foosball, pool table and ping pong table. One recommendation is to update the board games/puzzles. There were some missing parts. Overall great house, great location, look forward to visiting it in the summertime when it's warmer and we can really enjoy the water activities

Great Family Vacation Spot

The lakehouse is beautiful. We enjoyed basking in the sun and kayaking right from the backyard. 4 star is due to some housekeeping items that could of used a more thorough attention that we had to handle ourselves in order to be able to use the backyard. Definitely would recommend.

Just ok, needs work

I’ve been renting on Lake LBJ for many years. This house is on a great street and perfectly situated on the Colorado arm of the lake. The home is older with modest improvements. First impression was that it had sat vacant for a while. Overgrown bushes, yard appeared it had not been mowed and was covered with molting bark from the neighbor’s trees. (Haha, the yard crew arrived when we were packing to leave!) Windows are grimy and web covered. Decent wood deck in the back but it badly needs pressure washed/sealed and was covered with bark, debris and junk. The wood chairs by the firepit are warped and cracking. The boat/jet ski lifts were the best part of the home. The cabling and motors are in good shape on both lifts and they operated perfectly! The deck above boat dock is very nice and shaded in the evening but the webbing is torn on the loungers making them useless. The closure is missing from the gate that goes out over the water so the gate swings freely. A chair is positioned with the legs over the cabling to hold the gate closed. The GFCI breaker at the dock won’t stay engaged so the yard lights won’t stay on. Inside, we had to wash dirty sheets and a mattress cover from one of the bunk beds. Otherwise, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen/dining areas were clean. The bottom drawer on the stove is broken. The small pantry has a lot of food items, apparently from previous renters, and the floor mop, broom, dust pan etc. are stored there so we pass

Perfect Getaway on Colorado Arm of LBJ!

We all want to come back next summer!! There's lots of room to spread out, great view thru large windows facing the lake. The kids especially enjoyed jumping off of the top deck of boat dock! It was wonderful to have a reliable boat lift this year with ramps for jet skis....and ample parking spaces for 3 families. Loved the lake theme decor throughout the house, too. We were looking forward to our coffee by the water the first morning, but were disappointed that the Keurig was inoperable. Water wouldn't stop pouring out. Thank goodness there was a backup Mr. Coffee Maker on the countertop and filters in pantry.....just had to make quick trip to buy some Folgers! The only other housekeeping issue was the noticeable odor as we walked into the bunk room. Made me wish I'd brought some pinesol and a mop! Overall, great accommodations!! The beautiful lush green grass made it a very picturesque setting!

Was absolutely perfect for 2 families!!

We have stayed in the area before in a bigger home with more bells and whistles but we actually liked this one more! The house is a one story with only 1 small flight of stairs outside. The bedroom set up was perfect with a big open kitchen/living room. Kids fished, jumped, kayaked and floated on big mat. When kids needed a break from the sun they could play ping pong, pool, foose ball or board games. Easy cleanup. We rent properties based on the dock because that’s where we spend 90% of our time, and it was perfect!! Will definitely stay here again.
