“Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am.”

“Fire alarm went off, couldn’t get in contact with the host at all so the firemen had to override the system. without that the alarm would have went off all night. no checkout information was given, so wasn’t sure what to do at all. told to contact a number rather than on the booking site and never heard back. better places in Lancaster to stay.”

“Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. “The fantastic Howgills Apartments are in the quiet, calm and delightful Bainbridge Road, at just 2 minutes' walk from the town centre of Sedbergh. The apartments are in excellent condition, very comfortable, warm and inviting and come furnished with everything you could wish for, including tea and coffee supplies. The sofas are comfortable, and great for relaxing with a TV provided and there's an excellent kitchen area with large fridge and freezer so you can even "cook at home", buying fresh...

“Lovely apartment . Loved the colourful light above window table which got bright sun in the morning, very well equipoed kitchen area and great full stretch bath to soak away alot of walking. Excellent location for Bowness amenities and the lake and about 20 mins steady walk back to train station. Buses, cafes 2 minutes away. Only slight niggle were fibre pillows bit hard and flat for me but i was that tired from being out and about it didnt stop me sleeping and i would stay again 😊”
