They could only downgrade me to an non smoking single room and change the room next day. I agreed since my wife wouldn't show up until the next day. “I would recommend for couples or solo travel. Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer. Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally. Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people. There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street. If you want luxury...
