âThis hotel is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is okay, but the comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff is impeccable. I enjoyed my stay here!â
âWhen I arrived at the hotel and had checked in I discovered that the hotel had put me in an smoking room and no non-smoking room was available in the same class. They could only downgrade me to an non smoking single room and change the room next day. I agreed since my wife wouldn't show up until the next day. The following day I received a new room, but the ac sounded like an helicopter once again I complained and the reception change to another room and at the same time upgraded me to an suite,...

âExcellent in every way. Have stayed in several so-called five-star hotels in India, but unfortunately most of them are not fully five-star. The Oberoi, on the other hand, is an excellent choice. In addition, I received an attractive price for my stay at The Oberoi.â
âI stayed at this hotel for the third time in March 2024 and it was just as amazing as the previous two occasions (2014 and 2018).
This time, too, they recognized me the second I stepped into the lobby. The staff are fantastic, helpful and with a big smile on their faces. Unfortunately the restaurant was no longer open (except for breakfast) but I got tips on other restaurants nearby.
Thank you for another pleasant stay with you. See you next time I'm in Mumbai.â

Location of hotel is just close to all shops and restaurant. Taxis and other transportation is easy available. I will surely recommend to my group. Really it was comfort trip for me. âI would recommend for couples or solo travel.
Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.
Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.
Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.
There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.
If you want luxury...

âThe hotel behind Saifee Hospital. A side entrance a bit difficult to locate. No elevators..one has to climb 2sets of stairs/2x21=42 straight steps!!! Few rooms smelled high humidity.. the whole inside walls was tiled with what looks like rcream bricks and outline done with green marble. Positive:
Great location near shops, train station, walkable to Central Mumbai area, good big bed deluxe big room, clean.
Negative:
They don't provide toilet paper ! noisy employees all night in the corridor...
