Recently remodeled, the cottage features a stylish and comfortable living area with a sofa, cable TV, DVD player, and WiFi—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The kitchen is simple yet well-equipped with everything you need to prepare anything from quick breakfasts to home-cooked meals. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, making it ideal for a couple or small family. In the mornings, step outside to the sunny brick patio and enjoy your coffee in the fresh coastal air.

    You are booking with Casago San Diego, a professional local property management company. We require guests to complete our own “Vacation Rental Agreement” after they've made their booking. We do this to ensure quality and consistency for our guests and our homeowners.

One block from one of the world's most beautiful beaches! What else could anyone want? Nice, simple place. If I could add anything, it might be a little washable rug on the floor. The directions should make it clear that you have to enter through an alleyway in the back--I'm sure they'll fix that minor glitch.

Great choice for easy-breezy time in La Jolla! Location was key for us on this trip, and this spot delivered exactly what we wanted. Super close beach access, quiet nights and mornings, and easy walks to fun breakfast cafes made it perfect. Living room and outdoor tiny patio are comfortable spots for two people, though not for any entertaining. The bedroom is small, but the bed is perfect. One of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The kitchen is well-stocked with every small appliance you could want and plenty of plates and glasses of all types. No dishwasher, but that was fine with us as we were mostly eating out. -- One odd note: despite all the cooking utensils you could wish for, there was a very limited supply of flatware to eat from (only two forks, for example, of non-matching size). Again, for us this was not a big deal, but it might be for some people. Host communication was great, and super-responsive when we noted a minor issue.If you're looking for a spacious, elegant beach house, this isn't it. Several spots where a refreshed painting job would be nice. But for what my husband and I wanted, it was excellent and we'd stay here again for sure.

Cute cottage close to beach

We enjoyed out time at this cottage. It was a little smaller than expected but worked for the 3 of us. We loved how close it was to the beach.

La Jolla Cottage

This is the second year in a row that we stayed in this cottage over the 4th of July. It's a quiet and relaxing property. Close walk to the beach and restaurants like Cafe Vahik for breakfast.

Great for the price

Small but location is awesome. This place is perfect for a couple but ok for a small family. The bed is small but clean the sofa bed works but not comfortable at all for an adult small kids should be fine on it.

Great location + simple place

This place was exactly what we were looking for on our week trip to La Jolla. It was close to bars and restaurants and steps away from the beach. The place is small and simple but perfect if you plan to spend your time out and about. Fairly easy to find- the parking spot is not marked but we figured it out. Very happy with our stay here and would book it again

The cozy cottage was exactly as it was described! It was steps away from the beach, which was a very nice beach & the little patio outdoors was great. The parking spot was a great bonus! Thank you for sharing your VRBO!
