“Väldigt fint rum, vänlig personal i receptionen. Beställde mat i baren, efter en timme och 15 minuter inget hade kommit. Behövde kör till Ambleside för att få någon mat. ”

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

“Great location, centrally located for all of the trails, short walk into Grasmere was very convenient, restaurant was a great place to grab a good meal at the end of a long day”

“Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel.”

“Helt otroligt lyxigt och mysigt hotell! Vi fick ett fint rum, tillgång till en härligt gym och ett fantastiskt spa med olika behandlingar. En av de bästa hotellutsikter jag någonsin sett, precis vid sjön med en fin utsikt över bergen. Väldigt bra vandringsmöjligheter.”

“Clean, comfortable room, rather spacious, and overlooking the lake. Located at the heart of Bowness on Windermere, close to the promenade. The only drawback was the breakfast- one had to queue to access the breakfast lounge, and the staff was utterly disorganised, making mistakes etc.”

“This stay was for our Honeymoon. We were greeted by lovely staff very helpful with getting the app that helps give us free drinks and other perks. The room was lovely spacious with a lovely fire that kept things cosy and romantic. The facilities in the room were fabulous love the team and coffee with all the biscuits and hot chocolate was delicious bed was huge and comfy. Breakfast we really enjoyed there was help yourself elements toast tea an coffee cereals yoghurt and pastries then you...

“Lovely clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely food in restaurant. No TV service due to recent storms. This was not the fault of the hotel and they did provide a working TV in the comfortable lounge. Overall, a great 4 night stay. We will return.”
