“Det var med sorg jag lämnade detta hotell efter så kort vistelse. Ett i det närmaste perfekt hotell med vacker arkitektur och inredning, trevlig och hjälpsam personal (ordnade t.ex. en frukostpåse åt mig när jag behövde lämna hotellet tidigt), samt fullt med bekvämligheter. Hoppas kunna komma tillbaka hit någon gång!”

“I was quite disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and not appetizing at all. The room wasn’t comfortable; I could hear the neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and to make things worse, the noise from the birds outside kept me up most of the night. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t stay here again. The good thing about the hotel was the location, at the heart of Carlisle. ”

“Was extremely amazed by the building beautifull inside well done out. Pool was very nice good sauna and steamroom. However i was disappointed with breakfast. I love a buffet breakfast but it was described on expedia as a "free breakfast" not "breakfast included" the difference was a extremely limited one table continental breakfast and a menue order for a cooked breakfast. Further disappointed by the size one extremely small sausage 2 bacon tiny tiny cup of baked beans with eg ect, not a cumbria...

“Väldigt fint rum, vänlig personal i receptionen. Beställde mat i baren, efter en timme och 15 minuter inget hade kommit. Behövde kör till Ambleside för att få någon mat. ”

“Really lovely stay at The Belsfield. Clean, smart, spacious and beautiful. It has been renovated recently and the decor has a classy and stylish manor feel, lovely lounges, view of the lake for breakfast, comfortable room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast made to order plus great muffins! Very relaxing a perfectly situated for getting boats. We will be back! Only downside was a sneaky £15 parking a day if you book through a third party. No real reason given for this. Hotel was value for...
