“Great location for St Ives, with parking, as long as you are fit and able to walk up and down to town. Excellent location for visiting surrounding locations by car. A great property for 7- 10 people. Lots of space. Well equipped. ”

“Pet friendly. Lovely house in quiet area, but could do with some updating in areas. Back garden was very overgrown. Needs new mattresses, new pillows and double duvet needs replacing or dry cleaning as it had a lot of stains on it.”

“Property served its purpose well. Parts were a tad tired such as the stair carpets and big dips in the bedroom floors but the kitchen and dining room lounge were nice. Garden scruffy and no outside furniture. Oven was in need of a scrub. Beds were comfy however not enough bedding for the sofa bed or towels for everyone. No hand towels in the bathrooms just flannels.There was enough crockery for everyone and great kitchen facilities. Communicating with the host was excellent and very smooth.”

We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. “Main property is generally clean and tidy. Major issues with all windows and doors though. Some can't even be opened, others can't be closed. Even when closed there are massive howling draughts from the seals or frames. Heating has to be on constant just to even it out. All of them need replacing. 2nd hot tub isn't a hottub, just a bath with a hot hose running to it. Kids 'pods' pretty unusable, 1 stinks of damp rot, the other is just musty. The 'gym' has 1 reasonable running machine, the rest...

“Fantastic place, so homely and well positioned right on the beach, great for midnight strolls along the sea. Beautiful views from the property and plenty of room. We had a most relaxing stay and would most certainly rent again. ”
