VÀlkommen till "Granny's on the River", dÀr vi inbjuder dig att uppleva land som bor pÄ sitt bÀsta. Den hÀr familjens arvkammaren byggdes 1984 och vilar i en skogsomrÄde pÄ stranden av den vackra floden Chiwawa och kommer sÀkert att skapa en kÀnsla av nostalgi och samtidigt förse dig med alla bekvÀmligheter i hemmet. FrÄn den antika telefonen pÄ vÀggen, till samlingen av klassiska barnböcker i gÀstrummet pÄ övervÄningen, kommer denna stuga sÀkert att transportera dig tillbaka till en enklare tid dÀr vi kopplade frÄn och tillbringade tid med familj och vÀnner. Det öppna köket, vardagsrummet och matplatsen gör det enkelt för konversationer och njuta av varandras företag medan du förbereder mÄltider, spelar spel eller hejar pÄ ditt favoritidrottslag under det stora spelet. För dem som vill njuta av en trevlig njutning efter en rolig dag med Àventyr finns det en stor, privat sluten badtunna intill hemmet. NÀr du Àr redo att kalla det en natt, finns det ett rum precis utanför köket och en bÀddsoffa i vardagsrummet pÄ huvudnivÄn, eller sÄ kan du gÄ uppför trappan för att hitta ett andra rum och sovrummet. Det Àr bara rÀttvist att varna dig, du kan ha en kamp pÄ dina hÀnder nÀr du ser det sista sovmöjligheten ... en king size-sÀng ute pÄ det tÀckta dÀck i sovrummet. FörestÀll dig att du sover utomhus med ett extra skydd av taket, skÀrmar för att hÄlla buggen borta och lyssna pÄ ljudet frÄn floden bara 30 meter bort. För dem som kÀnns riktigt Àventyrliga kan du till och med sova ute pÄ vintern under extra sÀngar och den extra elektriska filten för att hÄlla dig varm. Du kan snöa maskinen direkt utanför dörren till denna favoritspÄr eller njuta av de oÀndliga sommaren, hösten och vÄraktiviteterna i omrÄdet, till exempel en dagstur till Lake Wenatchee State Park eller fiske pÄ Fish Lake i nÀrheten. SjÀlvklart att slappa vid bredden av Chiwawa-floden under tallarna i en hÀngmatta kan verkligen ladda batterierna ocksÄ. Granny's on the River Àr en underbart unik plats att bo och en fantastisk plats att skapa dina egna varaktiga minnen.

Downtown Leavenworth ligger 31 km bort och Stevens Pass ligger bara 29 km frÄn stugan. Den söta staden Plain med grundlÀggande bekvÀmligheter ligger knappt 5 mil bort.

The location was beautiful and right on the river. We also loved that it had a hot tub on the premises. The upstairs bedroom was amazing right above the river and partially opened to the outdoors that was screened in..it made for a tranquil night sleep. Overall, very happy with our stay!

My family and I loved this cabin and property. The cabin itself is amazingly warm and comfy. Being inside the cabin felt like a long warm hug for the soul. The outdoor sleeping area was pulled from my dreams and used several times for napping, reading and hanging out to listen to the river. The property is clean and welcoming. Booking and checking in was super easy and I loved the quick response from the property management. Our family adores this cabin and will be back. We felt so comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

The cabin is super cozy. Definitely gives you grandmas house vibes which I love. The outdoor patio upstairs with the heated blanket was my favorite part. It was almost like camping except you are super warm still and can listen to the river and see the snow falling. Overall great experience.

The property was everything we hoped for. Loved the Christmas tree by the river! It was quiet and the perfect amount of snow. The hot tub was relaxing and quite a treat after a long, busy day. Location right on the river was SO great. Loved the screened -in porch/bedroom- it was just heavenly to look out at the river and listen to the sounds of rushing water. We enjoyed cooling off in the water and sitting out back. Were surprised how close the river actually was to the house. Beds & linens were great too. The only negative was the carpet in upstairs bedwith AC had some big, gross stains. Also if it was mine, I'd downsize the # of pans--too many! & add a few medium bowls and some Tupperware. We LOVED our stay. Such a special spot!

I initially chose this property because the Wenatchee River is steps from the front door. Our stay was timed perfectly weather-wise (early Sept) - days were warm and nights cool, but not too cold to sleep in the delightful screened-in sleeping porch instead of a bedroom. We listened to the flow of the water all night long! Hardly spent any time inside the cabin. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. It was the perfect place for two of us! How lucky the owners are to own this special spot along the Wenatchee.

The house has the most wonderful river access, it’s quiet, the hot tub is huge, the outdoor bedroom is so unique
. But
 the place was actually gross. There was a horrifying level of dust on the ceiling fan and coffee cups, there was trash in the hot tub gazebo, and there’s no dishwasher so you’re relying on the last peoples cleaning skills, which in our case wasn’t great. They also had a dynamite photographer because this place seems huge from the pictures, but in reality we were absolutely on top of each other, tripping over chairs and things to actually get around. Again, though, the outdoor room was a kick for my kiddo to sleep in, we explored the river and nature around us in their quiet tucked away plot, and soaked in the massive hot tub every night.

Every aspect of this property was exactly what we were looking for. Potential guests do need to need to be aware of the dog dander. Outside of that, the house is cosy, easy to access, comes with a jacuzzi, and an upstairs room that is open air with a screen that overlooks rhe river. We all loved the gentle and serene sound of the river flowing past the edge of the property and wiuld absolutely stay here in the future. Thanks for a fantastic stay that we will always remember.

This is a wonderful, cozy and restful get away place for family to hang out and have fun. We have 3 adult children who joined us at the cabin. My son arrived at the site before we did. He texted : "This place is awesome!" to the rest of the family. It really is. It was clean, comfortable and homey. The wi-fi worked great. The boys enjoyed the hot tub. We all loved the beautiful river that rushed along just past the front yard. Wow. "Magical" was the word my daughter used. We especially enjoyed the upstairs outdoor space (complete with bedroom furniture and a table that we used as a game table). This lovely place exceeded all my expectations.

Had a great time near the river. The cabin is a 20-30 min drive into Leavenworth. Right on the river, you can listen to it all night. Short drive to Lake Wenatchee where we did a fun walk along the lake that starts at the campground. Clean and everything you could need for a stay!

Communication and check in/out was a breeze. Having the river in the backyard was great for sound and view but not so much for kids playing or being able to tube etc because of all the rocks/boulders. Only about 15 mins to Lake Wenatchee or Chiwawa river where you could play or tube etc. The cabin was more run down than pictures depict and it smelled of dog.. Some people would appreciate being able to bring dogs but we would not stay again because of this. The room upstairs that is screened in was great for the view/sound of the river and kept us from the mosquitoes.

Thank goodness there was a portable air conditioner in the master bedroom. We were still able to sleep in the awesome screened in porch all but 1 night. Typically it would have been even better in a normal weather pattern to no fault of the owner. The river was raging which made sense from the snow melt but we did not expect from the pictures online it would be so dramatically different and unsafe at this time of year to even attempt to get in to cool off. A dishwasher would have been a plus. And 2 of the hot tub jets were not working just a heads up to the owner which didn't really matter, it was still a hot tub for sure.. Otherwise a great stay!
