"Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately marred by several significant issues. Despite booking specifically for the pool and beach, both were closed due to alleged "bad weather"—even though conditions by the pool were calm they kept it closed all afternoon and evening. The air conditioning in our room was initially non-functional and only fixed after multiple complaints. The lunch we were served was shockingly low quality—what appeared to be a frozen pizza and a dry, pale toast with just cheese. This was far below what one would expect in Italy. Additionally, the rooms felt dated and poorly maintained. We noticed dirty baseboards, and there was trash left in the closet from previous guests. To top it off, a light on the smoke detector blinked intensely all night, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel is also poorly located, far from the city, surrounded by abandoned facilities and littered beaches, right next to a busy road in a very rundown and neglected area. This made our stay even more disappointing, as the surroundings were far from the relaxing environment we had hoped for. When we raised these concerns with management, they were dismissive and unwilling to offer any reasonable compensation. Given the high price point, the lack of access to key amenities, and the poor handling of our complaints, I cannot recommend this hotel. It’s overpriced and fails to deliver on its promises."

"Fantastic hotel in Catania, we stayed at 3 different places ancross Sicily , two of them in Catania and this was by far the best. Super comfortable bed, amazing size for towels (as they should be), we got a bottle of wine as courtesy for our stay and the minibar was included in the price. The breakfast was also by far the best we had on the island (offered by a hotel). Unfortunately, we couldn’t try the pool but it looked amazing! I really can’t wait until I’m back. "

"Unfortunately, our experience was not great. Our first room was infested with ants, an issue the hotel was clearly aware of but did not inform us about. When I called the front desk to request a new room, they said they would send the cleaning staff, but no one came. After waiting for an hour and a half, we packed our things and went to the reception to ask for a room without ants. The receptionist was very frustrated and claimed there was nothing they could do since the hotel is in the countryside. I politely pointed out that guests at a five-star hotel expect rooms without ants. We were then made to walk between the reception and various locations in the resort for the next hour, being shown different rooms and assured each time that the rooms were ant-free. Eventually, we were downgraded to a smaller room with only a few ants, which we accepted. However, this is not the level of service I expect from a five-star resort. Additionally, the room service process was very inefficient. You have to call the reception, wait for a call from room service, and then have them call you back to confirm your order. It took us about an hour to finally get through to room service, despite multiple calls to the reception. The resort itself is nice, and the restaurant staff is fantastic. The food is okay, but it’s strange that the hotel requires reservations for any restaurant (except the bar) for lunch or dinner, even when there are plenty of tables available."
