“Great hotel, great location, very nice staff - will def stay again!”

“We decided to try a "new" dog-friendly hotel in Astoria, and were not disappointed in our choice. The Lloyd Hotel Astoria Bayfront was very conveniently located for getting to the fairgrounds (where our main event was), as well as for heading to either downtown Astoria or Warrenton. It would be nice to have a turn lane for turning left from the hotel, but when it was difficult to do so, it was fairly easy to turn right & go around the nearby roundabout. “This hotel is so cool and it’s in a great location. There were earl plugs in the room , in case the sea lions were loud and we were lucky, we didn’t have to use them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very unique. The free champagne was a nice way to start our vacation. The outside saunas are neat and the deck is a great place to relax. Being from Florida , I’m used to air conditioning everywhere, so not having it was scary at first but the weather was perfect during the end of June.”

“Excellent staff. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast not run well. I know they were full, but didn’t replenish food items and even by 8 am only waffles and cereal were left”

“A second Coffeepad would have been great. Good Stay. Room was overheated when I came. Unnessesary, I made a reservation hours before. But it cooled down quickly with open door.”

“It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.”

“My husband and I stayed at Chautauqua with our 4 and 1 year old. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was very good, and the close walk to the beach and pool made our stay so fun. The only minor issue I had was our room was not as clean as it could have been. My son’s hands and feet were very dirty from crawling on the floor. I would say the carpets could use a wash and the linoleum could be mopped. Other than that our stay was lovely and my family had a great...

“It was ok”

“The staff was super helpful, considering one bed was broke, ( they knew it and rented the room anyway) and the door locks wouldn't work. Someone did come very fast to get a key from the office to let us in at 8pm. Unfortunately they couldn't get in the office (same lock issue) and a 2nd person came with a key to the office to get us a key to the room. NOTE. keyless entry may not work well with a west facing door on a HOT evening.”

“Room was clean, breakfast was very good and complete, and parking was no problem. Would stay there again.”

“Great staff from front desk to cleaning and breakfast room staff (friendly and helpful). The pool, spa and sauna are a nice addition. The room was a little dated but well-appointed (robes, hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave, frig). I also loved the balcony that faced the river. The chowder at 5pm and hot cookies at 2pm were fantastic! The free breakfast was a nice touch too. Ill be back!”
