“Lovely stay, large quiet room, private bathroom, breakfast included, shared kitchen and washing facilities. It is within a convent, nice to hear occasional bells and see kids playing during vacation care. Easy walk to station.”

“Really good value and great service. I stayed with my family but I got the sense that they were aimed more towards a younger clientele. The 20-30 something’s in the reception were incredibly helpful when I had trouble parking and had good answers and suggestions for all my questions. Surprisingly perhaps is that this blew the service at Disneyland hotel (supposedly 5 star but I suspect they count the star in Star Wars) out of the water. ”

“It was decent for a hostel, but the location makes it a bit inconvenient. The only way to get there from La Spezia is by bus, which runs about once an hour. The hostel sits at the top of a hill, so there isn’t much to do in the immediate area. The shared bathrooms on the second floor are in poor condition, there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, and there’s only one washing machine available (with no dryer), which makes laundry tricky. Adding more signs with clear instructions and timetables...

“Very well located basecamp in the heart of the Cinque Terre region. From there you can hike to all the other villages in 1 day. Basic but good acomodation. Very friendly atmosphere. ”
