“Property was good value, bed very comfortable. Nice warm house. Shared kitchen / livingroom very clean and modern. When I arrived there was mould around base of shower so I put bleach on it and cleaned it, This should have been done by cleaner. The electric shower needs replaced as its intermittent. But at the cost I'd certainly use it again. Fine distance from the town. Oh wifi wasnt really working but that could just be me..”

“A group of 7 family and friends from various places in Scotland and England stayed at Cardon House as a good place to get together.It's a lovely house and very comfortable and spacious! Wish we were staying longer. Some stunning scenery in the area and saw a red squirrel in the garden! Did not meet Caroline the host in person but spoke on the phone a couple of times, she was very helpful and friendly.Thoroughly recommend this place for a group of up to 12.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was really nice.....however, the single beds desparately need new mattresses to the extent where one of my children opted to sleep on the floor rather than on the springs of the mattress. ”

“The villa is stunning, and provides every amenity imaginable. After a day touring the Inverness area, we loved arriving to the villa and hopping into the hot tub, which was perfectly maintained. There was absolutely no waiting for the hot tub to heat up because Paul had it hot and ready to use. Paul is the ultimate host, and it is especially nice to have his assistance available on a moments notice since he lives just down the driveway in a separate house. “The house was perfect, it makes us feel like home, the location was excellent and the amenities all was very good. As he mentioned one thing was kinda complicated to put the address in the navigation system, was hard to find it, but thanks to all the directions David provided us, we were able to find it. ”

The accommodation was well suited to our needs. Saw Dolphins at the bank and all the must have essentials are easily available in the nearby shops including a decent Co-Op around the corner.”

"Jättefint hotell, läge och bra frukost. Parkering finns bara ett stenkast från hotellet. Old Town Rose Street Multi-Storey Car Park. Prisvärt och gott om platser. Gymet var inget att ha så det drar ner betyget lite."

"Don’t check in here unless you’re ready to deal with arrogance and zero accountability. Our first room had no heating – radiators didn’t work. Things break, fair enough, but the way we were treated by Cathlynn at reception was unacceptable. At 7:30 PM we reported it. By 9:30 PM, still nothing had been done. We were handed a shabby blanket and a small heater. At 11 PM we were downgraded to a smaller, warmer room. Next morning we were promised a 30% refund and an upgrade for our last night. What we got was the same category we originally booked – not an upgrade. Worse, the room hadn’t been cleaned: used coffee cups, wet towels, unmade bed – and our luggage was already moved in. Again, met with “not my fault” attitudes. I repeatedly asked to speak to the manager – apparently never there, even though we saw him during breakfast. Hotels.com was no help either. Claimed they couldn’t reach the hotel – I called myself and got through instantly. Staff kept apologizing but never followed up as promised. This hotel needs someone responsible at the wheel. Until then, stay elsewhere."
