Attending Foothills Paddle Club event.

The annual event is held at Chattooga Sounds campground but we opt to stay here with so many of the comforts. Love the venue and all they have to offer.

Serenity

Chicken Coop was very peaceful. Close to the farm store and the Distillery. Willies Tavern was five minutes away and had a more extensive menu than we anticipated.

Frustrating

Nice for younger ones. Not for Senior women. Owners away, house had not been cleaned. A neighbor quickly made it habitable. Driveway unsuitable for my Honda Civic. Car scrapped bottom. Praying it isn't damaged. Lovely location, convenient for our meeting family. Dead bugs between appliances.

Roosting at the Chicken Coop

We had an eggcilent stay in the coop. It was everything it was cracked up to be, There is nothing fowl that I can say about this coop. Our queen sized nesting box was very comfortable. The tiny hen house has all the room we needed and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed visiting with our fellow farm animals, cows and llamas, outside our front door just across the fence.

Excellent Birthday Weekend

The only downside was not a comfortable ‘sit down’ But pillows helped with that! 😁 Enjoyed meeting Kitty and we hope to go back with family one day! ❤️

Rain or Shine, We're Ready to Go Back!

From the peaceful setting, to fishing, to quick and helpful responses from the owner, this was one of our favorite "close-to-home" getaways so far! In spite of an unusual amount of rain nearly the entire time we were there, we were still able to enjoy fishing from the dock, walking on the path, and hours of relaxed reading and conversation in the rocking chairs on the covered porch...with a view that provided wild turkey sightings, groups of ducks and geese on the lake, and birds of every breed, color, and sound. My husband and I both read books, and I was able to get a significant amount of writing done! As the author of a book titled The House at the End of the Old Gravel Road, I found it extra special that some of Book 2 in the series was written at this adorable little house on an old gravel road! We took plenty of food to make our own meals (even cozier to cook together while the rain was pouring down outside). The well-equipped kitchen made that possible. Be sure to stop by the Farm Store...yummy jellies, coffees, and scrumptious apples! We're already planning our next visit!

Enjoyable Weekend

We found the unit clean and as described. We were free to roam about the farm, fish the lake at the small dock, enjoy drinks at the distillery and lunch at the bistro. Day trip to Tallulah Gorge State park and some shopping in Clayton and Dillard made for a super nice weekend.

Chicken Coop

This is a great property and good location. The chicken coop was just as I was expecting it to be and more. We love renting tiny houses but this by far has been one of the best with the overall comfort and roominess. The distillery is great and the late night walk up the driveway to the swing at the back of distillery was great, such beautiful views. The location is close to a lot and a must to do is go to Stumphouse tunnel and ISAQUEENA Falls. Would definitely recommend The Chicken Coop .. Nothing negative to say , but a few recommendations left to the owner. Would stay again in a heartbeat .. Thank you for opening your piece of paradise to everyone.

Cool spot to stay for a night or so! Very convenient to distillery and wedding venue.

Apple maps send you to wrong address, all of the local gas station/convenience stores close at 7ish. Was a very cool place to stay, we attended a wedding at the chatooga belle venue. Walking distance. Just make sure you have what you need before getting there!

Perfect quick weekend getaway

We were attending a wedding on site at Chattooga Belle Farm and wanted to be close so that we could celebrate. The chicken coop was perfect. Clean and quaint. The distillery has great drinks. The bourbon is so smooth. Great weekend getaway!

Loved it!

This cabin was so cute. Great size for family. We had plenty of room and felt cozy. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The sitting porch was a perfect break when things got crazy during our wedding weekend and the view was delightful. Thanks so much. It was perfect.
