"Hotellet var jätte bra, området rätt slitet. Men det innebar inga problem, gick bra å gå från tunnelbanan 10 minuter bort på kvällen utan problem. Bra å känna till är att dom har ett frukostställe på hotellet- som inte framgår av hemsidan."

"Fantastisk personal med fantastisk service! Stora rum och badrum. Sängarna hade två sorters kuddar (mjuk och fast) så man kunde välja vad som passade en bäst. Bra möjligheter till att tvätta själva. Helt okej poolområde. Bra parkering. Nära till restauranger och Old Town (gång avstånd). På baksidan fanns en inhängnande damm med fyra alligatorer vilket vi tyckte var kul att titta på. Det enda negativa var att man hörde högljudda grannar, men det var inget ständigt problem. Hotellet är helt rökfritt men det luktade ofta marijuana, ibland kom det även in på rummet."

"Easy to book, very friendly personal. Everything was clean and neat. 6 min walk to nice restaurant with breakfast and lunch. Buses close that take you to train and Manhattan. I will recommend it! "

"Bra läge nära restauranger och tunnelbana. Var dock tvungen att gå ner och be om roomservice flera gånger samma dag för att få någon att komma och städa trots att jag vid incheckningen bett om roomservice varje dag. Bodde där en vecka och fick rummet städat två gånger."

"Lets start with the pros, where the best thing would probably be it's location. It is located close to a subway station and is easy to get to from JFK airport. There is a cold drinking water and ice machine in the hallway, and the room was very spacious. You also have free access to fetch hot water in the breakfast area, making it possible to make your own tea and/or instant coffee. And there is a mini fridge in the room. Unfortunately the closeness to the subway, also means that the subway trains run literally right beneath the hotel, and if you as us get a room on a lower level, you will both hear and feel them passing by every now and then. I am not sure if there might have been an issue with the climate control in our room, as it mainly produced a lot of noise and wind but not very much coldness. So I would not recommend staying during hot days. The strong wind from the AC combined with the vibrations from the subway made it hard to sleep well even with earplugs. Also beware that even if you are told that you are "all set" at checkout, they can charge your credit card afterwards without providing any receipt or specifications. After unsuccessfully trying to contact Even Hotel directly I had to get help from Hotels.com to find out that besides the "resort fee" (that was never mentioned neither at check in or checkout) they charged a fee for storing our bags a few hours after checkout. I have never before been to a hotel that charges you $7.40 just for storing your bags!"
