Nice Stay with a Few Exceptions

Me and my long time best friend met here for a 2 day reunion with our family’s. There were 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. I selected this house because of the outdoor play equipment for the kids and nice outdoor area for the adults. Unfortunately, the only thing the kids could play on was the trampoline because the swingset and outdoor toys were covered in spiderwebs. The porch was also covered. I understand this is in the PA woods but these spiderwebs were very established and covered everything outside. All the reviews said it was extremely clean with plenty for the kids to do, so I assumed the swingset would be usable. The inside of the home was clean enough, but could definitely use a deep clean as there was dust/grime on a lot of less obvious surfaces such as the kitchen stereo, ceilings and fans. There was also not a broom at the house, so we were not able to sweep the floors during our stay. I was also disappointed in the transparency of this listing regarding community amenities. The pools, playground, and beach are all listed under amenities, but there is no disclaimer or note that the passes for these places are not included, and you have to pay to even go to the tiny community playground pictured in the listing. We opted to not spend the money for the passes and went on a nature walk instead. We made the best out of a disappointing booking and had a blast, but I definitely think the listing and home need an update and an indoor/outdoor deep clean.

It was a well laid out home with all the amenities we needed. Very close to the raceway! Struggled initially with key pad but once i contacted the owner he was able to sort things out

Cheer weekend in the Poconos

My family and I stayed at this property for a cheer competition that was being hosted at the Kalahari resort. The location was perfect the house, accommodations & neighborhood were very family friendly!

Poconos visit

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. Very clean and we had everything we needed for a restful stay. Would definitely recommend especially for a family with small kids as there are lots of toys for them to play with! I appreciated the baby gates included as well. Thank you again!

We had a beautiful family trip in this cozy house! It was very clean and comfortable! This house is very kid friendly with a lot of outside and inside entertainment for all age children! It is a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

We spent a week at this beautiful property. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The outdoor area was private and fun, with many outdoor activities. We had a spectacular time.

Perfect getaway

What a lovely home this was! Quiet with woods behind. Outside there were plenty of toys for kids and lounge area for adults. It was also fully stocked with toys and games for all ages, high chair, children’s table, pack n play. It really had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and temp control in all rooms. Kitchen was well stocked. It is a perfect place for a family or two to get away and close to plenty of hiking and ski resorts. Communication with the owner was great. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely home

Clean and Proximity to Attractions

Property was very clean and well maintained compared to a lot of other local properties. Items on the property are well tailored for families kids has lots to play with even though we had planned our own set of toys. Deck and exterior is well lit and makes outdoor stay comfortable. Overall good experience, never had to talk to the owner for anything.

Wonderful Getaway

Beautiful, clean, quiet house. Beautiful neighborhood. Deer visit in the backyard. Excellent communication with owner. If we ever come back to the Poconos we'll definitely stay here again.

Great rental, close to Camelback Mountains

We rented this house for a snowboarding trip for 6 adults and 1 child and it was very comfy. The owner was very responsive and was kind enough to supply use with bottles of water, a bottle of wine, candy, and all the utensils (including plastic cups, plates, forks) we needed. We would definitely rent this house again if we decide to go to Camelback for snowboarding again!
