Angela and her family are easy-going people and made us feel welcome and at-ease. We liked that they garden and recycle! The apartment isn't fancy, but has a cool Euro vibe, is nicely laid out and has everything you need. Beds are comfy, neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. (Really appreciated that the bed linens and towels are washed and dried WITHOUT fragrance. YAY! We enjoyed the patio space with a visiting friend and her 2-year-old. Parking is easy.

Angela and Marten were communicative, super friendly, and generous. The rental was thoughtfully appointed and well-organized with a place for everything that didn't make the rooms feel cramped. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again any time I was in the area.

Great location for getting everywhere! Stayed with all 3 of our young adult kids for family event. We had plenty of space -5 bedrooms were key! Also an Easy walk to the Culver City Stairs and the park. Got your steps in and have a great view of LA!

Universal Studios/Magic Mountain Getaway

We couldn’t have been happier with this darling VRBO. It was clean and spacious, and the owners were great. They even left snacks and drinks for our family. The location was perfect for what we needed as we had a few airport trips to make. We walked to a great restaurant and loved the charm of the area.

Nice place, great hosts!

Four work colleagues stayed for three nights and one morning while getting ready for some big work meetings, we had to take extremely cold showers. I sent them a message making them aware of the situation and they immediately took action. It turns out their water heater failed and they had a new one installed the same day. We were impressed! Overall, we had a great great stay and would recommend to others.

Wonderful stay!

Our group of 7 had a great stay at Angela & Marten's place in Culver City. The location was perfect for us, and it's a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable. We liked having the courtyard to hang wetsuits and towels after the beach. The way the house is laid out was perfect for us as well: two bedrooms and a bathroom to one end, and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the other end. No one had to go into anyone's room to use the bathroom which was great. Angela and Marten are super friendly and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Extremely Pleasant!

This property was perfect for our short trip. It felt like home away from home- very tidy, quaint, and quiet, yet it was close to several places we wanted to visit, including the beach. Highly Recommend - A Special Place

We truly lucked out on this wonderful property. We were amazed at the amount of space - so comfortable and bright - that allowed us to work, gather at the table, and relax outdoors in front of the fire pit. The hosts thought of everything -- kitchen, bath, and even beach needs were taken care of. And, the location is perfect. It was nice to have shops and Culver City overlook within walking distance. Driving to the beach and other spots was super easy. On top of all that, the hosts were incredibly gracious and such a delight to meet.

Our hosts were the epitome of hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and fulfilling. Their friendliness and eagerness to assist significantly enhanced our experience. The hosts were amazing, communication easy and reliable. Special touches included flowers, beverages and snacks. Plus, toiletries in the bathrooms. Rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable.
