The room we stayed in was clean and offered a pleasant view of the outdoors. We could see Mackinac Bridge from the room. Mackinaw City Park was within walking distance. Additionally, the hotel had a late check-in policy that allowed check-ins after 10 pm, which was convenient for us.

Nicely renovated older Motel right across the street from the Lighthouse and beach with a view of the Mackinaw Bridge. Clean and reasonably priced.

This property was perfect for our overnight stay before taking the ferry to Mackinaw Island. Our room on second floor had a little view of the bridge and lake. Very courteous check in.

Very disappointing when the pictures are misleading. They don't tell you that the pool is completely seperate from the rooms. The heat in the room was very hard to control so we had to run the a/c and the heat to get a comfortable temperature in the room.

Sorry our hotel did not meet your expectations. I assure you our pictures are accurate and untouched. Our base board heater thermostats are simple to use. Sounds like you turned it way too high and running the air conditioner at the same time as the heater made it worse. You were here for three nights. Perhaps you might consider asking for help the next time you get confused.

Nice little hotel. Close to the Lakes.
Stopped in for an overnight on a vacation trip through the northern midwest. Staff was wonderfully nice and the room was clean and comfortable. This hotel served its purpose well for this portion of our trip and will use them if possible in future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lighthouse View Motel in Mackinaw City, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff, which set the tone for the entire visit. The location of this motel is simply breathtaking. As the name suggests, the views of the nearby lighthouse and the surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning. I couldn't get enough of the picturesque scenes right outside my window. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I appreciated the attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The amenities were top-notch, and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the proximity to Mackinaw City's attractions and dining options. The motel's location made it easy to explore the town and enjoy the local cuisine. I must also commend the staff for their exceptional service. They were always available to assist with any questions or requests I had, which made my stay even more enjoyable. In conclusion, my stay at the Lighthouse View Motel was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway in Mackinaw City. I can't wait to return and savor those beautiful views once again.

The hotel has easy on and off access from Mackinaw Bridge and you get a great view of the bridge because the hotel is right across the street from the water/park. They have a nice pool and jacuzzi which we used during our overnight. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean hotel. Nice sized room. Basic comforts within. The only negative is the very loud window HVAC unit. Prohibited quality sleep.

The only thing about our stay was we were supposed to have handicap bathrooms. The man who called me said lots of grab bars for my handicap friend and NO HANDICAP BATHROOM!!!! BUT, we were so happy with the rooms, it was okay! Very clean and comfortable! Loved our three night stay!

This is an old fashioned mom and pop place that is right out of the 60’s. It is well kept, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It is right across the street from the old Mackinaw City Lighthouse. Nice full sized pillows and comfy mattress.

It was older and dated but i knew that when i booked. The outside noise was a bit more noticeable than i was expecting to hear at night when people returned to the hotel.

Location, location, location! This motel is literally right across the street from the lighthouse and fort, and only a couple of blocks from the main downtown area. Small rooms, but nicely updated older property. We will plan on coming back!
