Nice location, but think twice or three times before renting

Let me start by saying this property was "managed" by Vacassa and not Vrbo. The location is fine, even though it's on a busy street as advertised. My wife and I stayed here for two months; however, my wife was ready to move out on day one. The pool was disgustingly stained, we killed roaches almost everyday, there is mold on the vents, the furniture is worn terribly and in some cases held together by tie-wraps, handle broke off the freezer the first time we opened it. We have many pictures and the advertisement is not showing a "true" experience. Any time I reported these issues, Vacassa gives pretty much a caned response and then says they will have their "local team" know...never saw any local team in the whole two months. We asked for a partial refund, but not even a polite call back!!! Marco Island is beautiful, but we will never rent here or with Vacassa again!!!!

Great place with nice pool and patio watching sun set

Great place. Pool was awesome. Outdoor patio great and dock was there for our rental boat.. Bikes in poor shape. Two flat tires, one had broken pedal and the fourth had rear tire bolt loose. Third bedroom was a Murphy bed that stowed away in wall.. this was not identified in the listing.. Had construction across the canal that was very irrtating as they sunk pier for foundation.. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of beach towels. Location close to store.

Great place!

The property is great! Beautiful views and sunset and well equipped. Close to grocery store but away from strip. The only problems we had were 1)confusing information provided and 2) air conditioning stopped working the last pm. We don’t know if the ac was fixed quickly because we left early the next am. The site said to call for bikes. There were five there in the garage. We called (on hold for long time) and were told to use garage bike. It said to call and pay to heat the pool but it was already heated (we would have preferred it cooler). They said pool people would come Thursday and to leave screen open for them, but they came Monday. They need to update the info for this great place!

Lovely canal side home.

This tastefully decorated three bedroom home is very accommodating with a well equipped kitchen, family room/dining room and living room that opens out onto a covered lanai with generous seating that can be open or enclosed with a motorized screen wall. The pool/hot tub and patio area is not screened in but coupled with the covered lanai is the perfect spot to spend lazy days. Paying extra to have the pool heated was well worth the cost. The only downside is that this house is located on a busy street so traffic noise is an issue along with pulling out of the driveway. The traffic noise is not as noticeable in the pool area and it did not affect our enjoyment while staying at this property. The house is very close to a Walgreens, Publix grocery store and Ace Hardware. There is a TV equipped with Roku streaming and cable in every room. Overall I highly recommend this property.

Lovely home

We really enjoyed this quiet relaxing home. I like the Hemingway inspired interior design. The bikes were nice quality and fun to use. The interior and outside space is better than the pictures

Pleasant Marco Getaway

The home was well furnished and equipped - comfortable and pleasant for 4 people. Just as advertised on-line. The owner/manager was very responsive. We had a problem with the pool heater which was promptly resolved and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. Parking is allowed only on the narrow driveway - a little tightly spaced for 2 vehicles side by side.

dangerous repairs done to table chairs, pest control needs to be addressed as well as cleaning. many cameras in the house made you feel there was no privacy.

Very comfertable

Lots of TVs an couches, nicely furnished. The location and view were great. The only problem we had was there was no easy way to get in and out of the kayak

a perfect place to stay

The house was just what we wanted! The kitchen was well equipped, the furniture (including the beds) were comfortable. Many televisions to choose from; sound system was the best! The view was fantastic. The only thing we missed was a closet rod in the bathroom closet area to use with hangars for our clothes. We had a conversation with the owner of the house when we first arrived and he was wonderful to answer a few questions we had. We would go back here any time!

Great stay at Marco Island

We visited Marco Island for a 40th Wedding Anniversary. The home we chose was absolutely the very best to suit our needs and wants. The house was immaculate, spacious, quiet and comfortable - we felt like we were at home. The bed was very comfortable, the neighborhood was near restaurants and shopping. The bikes provided gave us an opportunity to explore the island. The pool was clean and warm, and the neighbor was friendly and helpful with suggestions for local dining. Great stay, I sure hope we can return.
