“My husband and I stayed here two nights as a break in our travels and it was just what we needed. The view of the lakes are just beautiful and the property is lovely. The owner is easy to reach and friendly. This is probably the nicest VRBO we've stayed in to date. The decor is beautiful and they've thought of every detail to make this a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend.”

“This little cottage is perfect for two people, beautifully decorated and equipped. The east-facing water view is stunning. The owner's house is on the property, but she was respectful of our privacy and ready to help with anything (although everything was in perfect order, so no need).”

“This apartment above the garage at the back of the property is exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bed and furniture are all very comfortable. There are 17 steps to climb so if mobility is an issue, you'll want to keep this in mind. However, if it isn't, I highly recommend this property. There's even a nice little patio and bbq for your use. Holly was communicative without being iintrusive and kindly shared her delicious tomatoes with us.”

“New, lovely, comfortable, clean space that didn't disappoint. Situated in a quiet orchard, we watched the wildlife go by and opened the windows at night to listen to the owls. So many thoughtful extras were stocked for us (loved the chocolate from the local sweet shop!). Very close to town and everything it offers. Great communication from hosts. If you get the opportunity, stay here!”

“ Check in was slow. Learned upon check-in that there was an extra charge for pet. Information was not included on Expedia website for this hotel--probably more of an Expedia shortcoming than the hotel itself.”

“The location and home was great. Saw deer and herons on the property. No mosquitoey was fantastic. Only thing that was a concern was some of the carpets were stained or dirty. I took pictures in case I was going to be charged but not too concerned. If you have a chance it is a nice be place to stay. Thank you”

“Valley View Motel is a great little "get away." It's rustic, it's clean, it's quiet. If you're looking for state of the art, top of line everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple little cabin, friendly check in, not many people around and just a place to relax, read, write, or watch an old movie on a small TV, then it's a great place. I come here to unplug and I feel refreshed after a night or two and am a little sad when I leave.”
