Calming and Relaxing
We loved the water view. It was so quiet that it made relaxing easy. My husband and I are retired, but our adult children work so hard in the medical field, teaching field and the cabinet making business and finishing carpentry and they were able to totally relax on this trip and never wanted to leave. We fished and cooked and enjoyed just being together. We definitely want to come back. I would like to give a shoutout to Jose who came and fixed a problem, was very kind and patient and even took our garbage cans to be picked up. He’s a keeper. Thank you! We would like to stay there next year, if possible.

Needs work!
Positives: the space was great! Plenty of room-every family had their own room/space. The views are stunning. Negatives: the hot water heater for the right side of the house didn’t work. We had to call the property manager several times before we were in touch with someone. We left a voicemail and sent an e mail and didn’t get a response. We called several times and finally got a person who told us to light the pilot light. We had to find the hot water heater. We re-lit the pilot light but it wouldn’t stay lit. The pool vacuum didn’t work, the pool didn’t filter correctly and the pool surface started to collect a film and the water started to get cloudy. The ladder into the bay was broken and covered in barnacles so we couldn’t get into the bay. The ladder in the boat house was also broken and covered in barnacles. The grass was high and in need of maintenance. There was no instruction on where the A/C control was. One was behind a lamp in the upstairs bedroom. There is an Alexa in the kitchen with a camera. We turned the camera off since we dressed young children in the den/kitchen area. I understand the property is on the market, but as long as it’s being offered as a vacation rental it should still be maintained as such. Overall rating is 3 stars for the room. But there are many issues. The property managers need to respond more promptly.

Great, relaxing home on the bay!
This is our 2nd stay here and it is a beautiful, very large and beautiful house that backs up to the bay! Private boat dock if you bring your boat, nice pool. The property manager was very attentive to our needs. We will stay here again the future someday!

Beautiful house and property. Super access to the water. The property is away all the noise of loud drunken people, but within driving distance of many beaches. So much room! Are boys and their wives had their own space without disturbing the others. We will definitely be staying hwre again in the future. Thank you all for a beautiful week.

Our family trip
It was a beautiful home, and a nice quiet area. This is our family trip we take somewhere every year. This was our first time there to that area. We have 14 in our party. House was very nice but could have used a good cleaning. Towels were to be provided but we only had 8 for 14 people. We had to go to the store to buy more. In the original picture and amenities it said it had a hot tub and was in the picture. It did not have a hot tub. The pool is covered which was nice no bugs. We had a problem with the oven when we arrived that the owner addressed very quickly, he said he would have to order the complete panel to repair but that left us without an oven. Made cooking for 14 people hard just using a toaster oven. Several doors had trouble opening closing. Possible due to climate. Several bar chairs were in need of repair. Overall we loved to location and the house. Just wish we could have not had to experience they problems.

Awesome fishing and real luxury
Just a perfect location for people like water views, nature and luxury houses. You can fish from three sides of this house and we caught fish on all three. Rod holders buried along the bulk heads was such a nice surprise. The house was more than we needed but we enjoyed dealing with that. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful
This property is phenomenal. The house is the most beautiful home I have ever been in, each room with its own water view, and several with balconies. The walk-in showers in the master suites are glorious. It was perfect for our family reunion and wedding. The old oaks, the large lawn, the pool, the fire pit, all perfect for our outdoor event.

This house has everything and then some!
The house and property were absolutely stunning. Each room was spacious and with it’s own bathroom. The pool was nice to have for the kiddos, fishing was great, and dolphins came to visit daily. The property management team has great communication and responded well and in a timely manner about an issue we encountered during our stay. However, this same team needs to look this property over better. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the home. The pool had the vacuum in it but not running, the house flooring was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival, the dining table ledge was pretty gross, and the flat surfaces had not been wiped prior to arrival either. With such a high price tag on the cleaning fee, these are things I would expect to be cleaned, bare min.

Beautiful & Peaceful Location
Great property, lots of room for everyone, comfy beds, clean, you really can't beat this house for this area. Peace and quiet if you want or go into town for activities. The views are incredible and the breeze coming in from the water keeps you comfortable. The only suggestions would be more seating in the pool area to accommodate the number of people the house can hold and more towels for the kitchen and bathrooms. We seemed to be short a few forks and could have used instructions for operating the TVs. None of these things would keep me from renting this place again, it's a really GREAT property.

Family vacation
This was an awesome property. Having the pool and intercostal and boat dock was great. Lot of room for all 14 of us. It does need some updating with ceiling fans and more outdoor seating. The outdoor kitchen area needs cleaning and updating. It needs a good deep cleaning with fan blades and under beds. We did have an issue with one of the air conditioner units but owner brought out portable unit till they could get someone out to look at it. Overall it was a great place we would stay again. Good location to go to destin during the day.

Beautiful Wedding staying at a Beautiful house
It was amazing for the Sailing to Samuels wedding party. It was very spacious for everyone and equipped with everything that we needed during our stay.It was so peaceful and beautiful that we all looking up dates now so we can come back to this beautiful house !

Best trip ever
I brought down a supported person with Intellectual disability this home and area where perfect I have worked and lived with him since 2004 we come too Orinda every change of Season this year we stayed forth day it was perfect fishing and sun rise and sunsets.but when we arrived home we found out he has Cancer stomach and liver I hope we get one more Trip in .I hope we r blessed to stay at this home again God bless u all for sharing this wonderful home.

Ringing in the New Year
Best VRBO experience ever! Beautiful property that is very well maintained and very clean. Every room is a suite with beautiful bathrooms. HVAC system was awesome, kitchen was stocked with everything’s imaginable for many cooks to help, nice pool, grill and fire pit area. Comfortable furniture groupings throughout to spread out for smaller group get-togethers. A wonderful way to spend a week together reconnecting with friends from all over the country, with private and social spaces, and enjoying the outdoor as well.

Overall it was exactly what we booked We stayed over Christmas so paid the upgrade to heat the pool I'm glad we did The only down side was there was 1 thin blanket on all the beds and no extras in the closet so we ended up buying a few throw blankets to help with the chill

house could use a couple outdoor chairs on each of the decks as I and others looked forward to sunrise coffee out there , was told we could see sunrise from patio downstairs near the pool. OK but not the same as a couple having a little away time from the rest of the group on their PRIVATE balcony . Only other issue was a tripping hazzard when going into the laundry room , its a very small step down ..almost unnoticeable ...That being said we all 13 of us enjoyed this beautiful house and will speak highly of our time there.

Lots of Space and great communication
This place was huge and had plenty of space for our big family to stay and visit. The pool was nice but is not heated unless you request it to be before hand. The upkeep around the pool and back area could have been better. The pool cleaners got there after we checked in so maybe they felt rushed. We received quick responses from Paul (the owner) about any question or concerns we had. He even accommodated a late check out for us. Thank you so much for allowing us to have a relaxing stay.

Plenty of room for our family of 5
We drove all the way from Indiana to surprise my mom in Pensacola. This stay was the beginning of my husband's 36th birthday vacation week. He knew we were on the water, but didn't know it was directly behind our home. He loved waking up and seeing the ocean. We even seen his favorite bird, an eagle. It was literally the size of our 2 year old daughter. We aren't sure if the eagle was trying to grab the blue heron or if they were fighting over the fish by the dock. Either way, it was a fantastic experience. Our family homeschool, so seeing different animals, ecosystems, trees and weather differences, it was a great way to make this family vacation also a great extended "field trip" on a Florida journey. The home had plenty of kitchen ware and we LOVED the bathroom in the guest master suite, above the kitchen. The pictures do not do this home any justice. I absolutely loved the home and gave our family plenty of space to unwind from the busy working world and just rest at ease. Would definitely book this home again. Fun fact, the cleaning lady who showed up was an old high school friend of ours. Love love loved the experience. Friendly neighbors as well. Do not pass this home up. Total game changer when you have a beautiful home to relax in while on vacation!!

Awesome place
Huge house with lots of rooms and space, the pool was great for the kids especially, and the back porch was a great hangout spot. Being right on the water, we spotted a dolphin a couple of mornings! and also gave us a great area to kayak in (we brought our own). The beach was a short drive away, and stores are a convenient distance too. We did have some trouble with lights and lightswitches, but it really wasn't a big deal, and the owner said he'd have it looked at. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Heaven on earth
This home is spacious and the property is perfect for active children and fishermen. The intercoastal waterway is literally right there. We saw dolphins swim by and we swam in the ocean. The nice sandy bottom is perfect and not deep at all. The view from the pool us amazing. Inside the house has everything. Large rooms everywhere, The open kitchen/living room is perfect for a large group. The bedrooms are spread out with bathrooms right there. This place made our family vacation perfect.

Great place and location!
There is many things to do without you ever having to leave the home. The house his big enough that everyone has plenty of room and space to do their own thing if wanted. The only down side to the property was the cleanliness. The pump was turned off by accident when someone came to work on the heater for the pool and that was fixed immediately the next day. If you want the heated pool it is extra and we didn’t know that at the time. Due to the weather being cooler we would have paid the difference to have pool heated, but the kids enjoyed regardless. I can say that the views are amazing and definitely something to remember. Also the upstairs master bath tub stopper is messed up but there are other tubs so no big deal there.

The perfect wedding
We hosted the perfect wedding at this beautiful venue!! From the day we moved in 3 days prior to the wedding the few small issues we had the property management was top notch! They even sent a second cleaning due to a few things. The neighbors were awesome and welcoming! Thank you 100x’s for making our sons wedding perfect!!!! We are forever in debt! Great place
I cannot say enough about this place. Plenty of room for all of us. Everyone had their own space. We had 10, 6 kids ages 2 to 16 and 5 adults. I have never stayed in a place that had plenty of glasses, silverware, utensils, pans and dish towels. That makes it nice when preparing meals. We don’t eat out all week. I have stayed in places where I had to go to the store and buy dish towels and dish cloths just to wipe down the kitchen counters. The owners was very nice and quick to answer any questions we had. Beautiful view outside the back door. We watched dolphins playing one morning. Very nice pool. We had a great visit.

Perfect place for our wedding!
Bay Villa has it all. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Space for large groups, including bathrooms for each bedroom. We had our wedding here February 1, 2021, and the renovations were awesome. It was even more beautiful than when we booked it. We were married outside and had the dinner following inside, and there was plenty of space for 40 people. The kitchen was awesome too, my family even prepared the meal with plenty of space to work. We are already making plans to return.

Great long weekend on the water
6 friends met up for what was supposed to be a former co-worker's retirement in the area. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to move dates a couple of times and just made it a guy's weekend. The house was great--clean, roomy, and a beautiful spot on the water at the end of the road. We enjoyed the pool and scenic backdrop and everyone loved the home. Well furnished and equipped, it was perfect! Slept 6 as if you were the only one in the home...highly recommend for all groups. Thanks to the management company for being communicative and flexible with our reservation, they were outstanding.
