“It was a very nice place to stay for our one night in Hana. This was our 2nd time on Maui and decided to make Hana a two day excursion. We did the back road to Hana again and beat all the traffic. Left our loud and crowded Kannapali hotel at 6AM and found ourselves soon driving in quiet Up Country and then onto volcanic desert like landscape when at times not even seeing another car for 30mins. “We have a large group family of 8 adult and 1 child 11 year old. This place is beautiful and very clean, close to the beach. But it's definitely not for 9 people, I don't consider these two place in the house is for sleeping. The couch is definitely not comfortable for 2 adult and the up stair is very hot event with small air fan. The ladder is dangerous to claim up and down the stair. This place is 5 star, but it only fit 5 people not for a large party of 9 or 10. I'm happy with the location...
