Welcome to Mossy Rock Retreat, your cozy cabin escape tucked away in the scenic mountains of Mentone, Alabama. This cabin blends comfort, convenience, and mountain charm, offering spaces for relaxing, playing, and reconnecting. Inside, you’ll find an open living area and a fully equipped kitchen, while the bedrooms and loft provide restful retreats. Outside, enjoy a hot tub, fire pit, and grilling deck, making this the perfect spot for a memorable getaway.

Cook up your favorite meals in the kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances including a fridge, electric stove & oven, microwave, and dishwasher (pods and dish soap provided). Enjoy morning coffee with both a drip coffee maker and Keurig, plus a starter kit with 2 packs of ground coffee, 2 K-Cups, sugar, creamer, and filters. Essentials like paper towels and trash bags are also provided for your convenience.

Relax in the large tile walk-in shower and enjoy the provided 2 bath robes, towels, and washcloths (1 per guest). The vanity features a stylish copper sink, and the bathroom also includes a toilet and 2 rolls of toilet paper.

A stacked washer and dryer with 2 laundry pods and dryer sheets are available for your convenience, perfect for longer stays.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby attractions. There is no public transportation in the area, so having your own vehicle or renting one is recommended. While Uber and Lyft are available, rides may sometimes be limited, so planning ahead is a good idea.

1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more):
• For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies.
• Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
• A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.
2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival.
3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation.
4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.
5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy.
6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
7. No parties or events allowed.
8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.
9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.
11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
