âVery nice hotel situated spot-on in the most beautiful area of old town Aix. The old wall of the almost 2000 year old roman bath Sextius can be seen from the hotelroom. A more modern spa is on the same spot which is free if you stay at the hotel. A hot nice sauna is great after a long walking tour around the town. Though the jacuzzi could be a bit warmer. âThe property is in town on a quiet street. Within a 5-minute walk, there is a supermarket and the cours Mirabeau is a 10-minute walk. The most important attribute of the hotel is its owner, Paul. Paul takes great care of his guests. He is flexible and very accommodating to the needs of his guests. I stayed two times with a week-end in between and he kept my luggage for me and then put it in the room when it was time to check in. He also didn't accept the taxi driver's suggestion to walk a few...
âHad a fantastic stay at Coquillade Provence Resort & Spa. Stayed 4 days. Beautiful resort and incredibly nice surronding views. Had a Junior Suite - large balony, great bed. Very clean (twice a day and fast). Great food in the restaurants. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. Lots of space in pool area. Clean pools. Silent and peaceful.Short drive to different small and pitoresque villages â
âthe stay was good overall (nice room, clean and friendly staff) although the breakfast could have been better + the refill of some food platters at the buffet were slow (or none at all) so if you get down late or in a rush for a quick bite before heading off for breakfast you pretty much get what was left.
plus i highly recomend you check with them before booking regarding the pool if it was open, we pretty much booked the stay to relax by the pool but it turned out that it was not yet openâ

"The hotel is good but my room was rather small. Staff very nice.
Acces with a car is very difficult though. The whole center of Aix i a pedestrian area. After 45 minutes of attempts to reach the hotel I gave up. Put my car in a garage and walked to the hotel. Later the staff told me I should have called them so they could lower the barriers."
