Midland Railway - Swanwick Junction

We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done about it, they just said they would pass the feedback on. It left rather a bad taste in our mouths as we departed after what had a been a nice stay.

This is an marvellous property. Our room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good and has many choices. There’s a plenty of places with free parking.
