“Wonderful place to stay! Extremely friendly host. The property is so beautiful. Right on the lake. We made coffee and sat on the black sand beach in the mornings, and painted near the beach in the evenings. The kids played in the nice, clean pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the town of Bolsena was a 5 minute drive, with plenty of options for food. "We had an amazing experience at Hotel Della Fortezza! The unique atmosphere and historic setting made our stay truly special. What really stood out to us was the hotel’s strong commitment to sustainability — from eco-friendly practices to their focus on local, organic products. We especially loved the delicious locally produced food, which gave us a real taste of the region. It’s clear that the hotel values quality and the environment in everything they do. Highly recommended — definitely worth a visit!"
