“We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way.”

“The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away.”

“We booked an extended weekend with a couple of families. Both the adults and kids had an amazing time. The kids enjoyed the movie theater room. The adults enjoyed darts, pool table, bar, and hot tub. The home was very clean. It also had everything we could possibly need such was towels, cookware, paper products, soaps and shampoos. We honestly didn't want to leave and plan to return. The pictures of the home definitely does not do full justice on how beautiful it really is.”

“Was very clean, host was responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the gas and someone came to fix it within 2 hours. It snowed during our stay and the snow was plowed by someone twice. Could only find 2 bathrooms. Not a problem for our group, just informing. Overall, amazing stay and would recommend”

“The unit was well maintained. took a couple tries to find due to being off the main road and down a hill. Getting ahold of the manager was a difficult do to going thru vrbo email and not a standard email. overall the stay was nice.”

The house was clean and not cluttered, which was a bonus when you’re with a toddler who will grab everything, so it was easy to “childproof” the home.
