The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURlogy Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

I promptly received a refund which I appreciate. However, the confusion was due to the rules of dogs in the complex. The description does not clearly tell you the weight limit. My lab is over 65 lbs. When we arrived at 1:30 in the morning, we found that out. Please read the description completely before booking. I had my family in the car for a softball tournament and we had to find a place at 2am that accepted dogs of any weight.

Condo is very run down - bathtub is peeling, doors and fixtures are dry rotted. This place is very run down. It didn’t seem to be in a great neighborhood (didn’t let my teenager go walking around at night by herself). Lots of instances where it smelled like weed was being smoked nearby. Beds were old - Springs were sticking up- extremely uncomfortable, and almost didn’t stay the second night of our reservation based on this.

Entering the room it seemed as if it was gonna be a nice room. Once we opened the curtains all the way to walk out on the balcony it wasn't hard to tell that it was a pet friendly hotel by all the pet hair on the floor. Doesn't look like the floor has been swept in some time much less moped. Everything was dusty & the bathroom was dirty as well. Had to wash my 7 month old baby in the sink because the bathtub was not suitable for her to sit down in. We were only allowed 4 towels at a time & were only given more with an even exchange of the dirty ones. There were 4 people with us so we had no extras at all. Towels & rags were very dingy & the shower curtain was black at the bottom from not being washed. We saw a bug (roach) on the TV stand but thankfully we didn't see any other during our stay. We WILL NOT be staying at Ocean Park Resort again!

We needed a affordable weekend getaway. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful throughout the weekend. The pictures of the unit/property were much more appealing and roomy than the actual room. The unit is older and needs a good cleaning. We also were disturbed one of our evenings by a domestic disturbance where the police became involved. Our safety at one point was questionable. The police were effective but it took them awhile, at least an hour of disturbing yelling and pounding on the door by another tenant before they arrived. We cut our visit short by a day even though the beach was enjoyable. I will choose another place to stay the next time I visit Myrtle Beach.

The room was very clean. The one thing is the strong smell when I went in. Not unpleasant just strong. I needed to air it out. When we left there was small amounts of white stuff that had fallen on everything in the room. I think it may have something to do with whatever was sprayed. Though odd, i didn’t change my rating because it was clean.
