Quiet and charming

Very Happy!
My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights with our three kids and one of their friends here. Very spacious home and very close to downtown Mystic. In fact, her son and son's friend brought their bikes and biked the area with no issues. The owners were very quick to answer when we pinged them about certain things. The house was clean and we will most definitely stay there again for a trip next year.

Perfect Neighborhood Feel
The house was exactly what we needed. It’s close to everything but set off a quiet street. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and walk to get coffee and ice cream! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and Janet was beyond helpful and accommodating.

Great Stay in Mystic
Our stay coincided with the arrival of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Henri which made landfall just a few miles away in Rhode Island. The owner reached out to us before the storm and we talked about the weather, the house and our travel plans. She was really great and let us adjust our dates at the last minute and also gave us updates about any damage, flooding or loss of power (the storm ended up not being too bad and everything was fine). The house itself was really nice, perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We go to Mystic every year to visit family and honestly we will probably not even search and just check to see if it is available again next time!

Great Place & Location
We had a really great stay here. Not being familiar with Mystic, this location was centrally located and about 10-15 minutes from every place we wanted to go to. The house feels very private, the grounds were spacious so our kids could run around and play, the inside was very clean and comfortable, and we slept very well in the beds. You can see the nearby water from the driveway, which is nice, though it's not accessible. If I had criticisms it would be the middle of the couch has a strong dog smell which was off-putting to my wife but no one else really cared. Also, you may want to change one of the heat shields in the grill as it's slightly rusty. These are small, small points ... All in all, we really enjoyed our 3 days here and would absolutely stay here again.

Great Place To Stay
The home, property and neighborhood are lovely, close by everything we could possibly want: beaches, supermarket, restaurants, etc. Easy and quick ride to Old Mistic Village, Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. Children had a blast!

The property was lovely, and Janet was great with communication.
The house was just as pictured. It is within 10 minutes of all the major Mystic attractions. We enjoyed the backyard, and loved that we had use of the grill. We were able to easily get a hold of Janet anytime we had questions.

Weekend get-away
Great location, very close to downtown! Plenty of space to spread out. Be advised, even though guests cannot have pets, owners have pets so if you are sensitive/ have allergies, you may want to inquire further. It was not ultimately not a big deal as we did not spend much time in the house and host was very welcoming, but it's always difficult to know if a property is 100% pet-free.

Great house in a great spot
This house was perfect for our mini Spring Break getaway. The kids loved it! The fact that there was a backyard was huge so they could play along with a quiet street for them to scooter around. You cannot beat the location of the home. It is 1-2 miles from everything you could need. We walked a bunch! Janet was very communicative and helpful with her recommendations. It was a fantastic trip.

Wonderful and walkable
We loved our stay at this property. I stayed here with my husband and twin 3 year olds. They loved the huge backyard, toys, and proximity to a cute ice cream shop right across the street. My husband and I loved walking to downtown Mystic and eating at the various great restaurants. The hosts responded to any questions we had very quickly and were so kind. There is a cute little beach 1/2 a mile away that was perfect for our little family. 100% will be coming back.

Great house in a great location!
This is a great 3 bedroom house in a great location in Mystic. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants. A quick drive or walk to a little beach. The house was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend it.

We were there for two months. The sectional wasn't that comfortable & would have enjoyed a more comfortable spot for reading. The owners were very responsive to us if we had any requests , problems, or questions..

Perfect Mystic Basecamp
We had the loveliest time making dinner out the back and eating under the huge tree, or having coffee on the front porch in the morning. There was so much space for three of us to spread out and enjoy, and it is mere minutes from Mystic Seaport. Janet is super fast to respond to any questions and is a gracious host. Thank you Janet!!

My friends and I did our annual Girls' Weekend at this home on a quiet cul de sac about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Mystic. Every sight/restaurant we went to was a mere 3-5 minute drive. The exterior of the house is an attractive ranch home painted a very pleasant light yellow color. The front and back yards are very pretty. The inside of the home is modest, clean, and neat as a pin. Updated slipcovers and drapes would really enhance the nicely sized living room. The owner, Janet, was always quick to respond to my questions. I recommend this home!

Quite pleasant
We loved the location of the house for both local destinations and attractions, and peacefulness from the main road. Having the extra 1/2 bath was very useful for the 5 of us. Only small negatives were the areas of pet dander (table runner & couch), and old non-working range hood. We would definitely recommend this house and return again!

Great house! We loved it!
We wish we would have had more time to spend here! The house was very nice and just perfect for us! I would definitely stay here again if we come to the area! One suggestion...maybe some solar lights to light the sidewalk along the back path to the door. At night it’s quite dark which made it challenging for both sets of our parents. We just used cell phone flash lights for the win! 😄 Like I said just a suggestion cause the house is great!!!

Fantastic location and cozy place
Very happy with this rental for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Very cozy place with multiple AC units to moderate the temperature. The location was ideal for ventures into Stoningon, downtown Mystic, and beaches. Highly recommend!
