From the location (stroll down the path next to the creek right into downtown Golden - it’s a beautiful walk), to the staff who went above and beyond to make my husband’s bday special , to the awesome outdoor space to just hang out and enjoy drinks, food, and live music - it’s a 10 all around. Great small boutique hotel with all the amenities and a chill atmosphere.”

“The person before us had requested late check out so our room was not ready until 1/2 hour after check in. We had arrived early so it was a wait. When we checked in we discovered the sheets were stained but the housekeeping team had gone home so we were given a set of sheets to change our own bed. The coffee pot also didn’t work. Not a very good stay for a Marriott. Breakfast was good however. There was a wide selection of healthy foods!”

I even called the property ahead of time (2 weeks prior) to confirm my accessible reservation. After a 2 hour phone call and the run around from both Expedia and Home2Suites, I did confirm my reservation. “We needed a handicap room in which I requested when I booked the hotel. We were assigned a non-handicap room. I asked staff if they can switch us because for one the tub/shower had no handrails. They advised me that being that we booked through a 3rd party we are not guaranteed the type of room I requested. We were stuck in this room for a couple of days with no effort to accommodate us.
