“I came with a baby asked for a crib multiple times, they never brought it. The AC was either too cold or non existent. The cleaning lady came in after 3 days. And cigarrette smoke was coming from the bathroom vent. Clearly the worst hotel ever.”

“The staff was wonderful but so overburdened. The Marriott CEO’s aim to cut corners is woefully apparent and made the stay more challenging because they were so understaffed. Truly, the personnel were kind and accommodating, especially those at the front desk. They were literally checking people in, answering phones, making coffee, and taking bar orders simultaneously and somehow with a smile! Unfortunately the financial decisions of higher ups have reflected negatively on the entire Marriott...

“The pictures of the property are either from another location or from very early on when it was last renovated, I requested 1st floor and didn’t get that. Bed sheets were stained, bathroom was dirty, door to the room would only shut with force. I didn’t expect much with the low cost of the room I guess you get what you pay for! I was woken up to a prostitute knocking on my door at 2am offering services.”

“Clean and good-sized rooms. Nice pool and very comfortable beds. The most outstanding feature was the chef and the breakfast. Chef Nell and Edwin were wonderfully welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was great. Other staff were just OK. Reception desk seemed stressed and/or under-staffed. Housekeeping did not attend to our room at all during our 2-night stay and we had to request towels twice. But overall excellent value and would recommend to others.”

During my most recent visit I experienced much of the same lack of upkeep with this property. The hand rail in the shower had broken and it was pasted together flimsy. The shower curtain was dingy, as though it had been bleached. The water rose in the bathtub as I was running the shower. The bathroom fixtures are broken. No stoppers in the sink or bathtub. “We needed a room with two beds. When we searched on Expedia, we used the filter that allows you to search for a hotel room with two beds. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there were only rooms available with one bed. We were also told that it is the fault of Expedia that the Expedia website leads one to believe that there are two beds when there is actually only one.”

“We paid extra for the breakfast room but felt it wasn't worth it. No bacon, just sausage. Orange juice from a Tropicana bottle. The waiter was lovely but they ran out of things and he was always running back to the kitchen. All staff was very nice. Free parking available across the street.”
