This particular lighthouse is the one that appears on the Cape Cod potato chips bags. It is a beautiful, old and well-preserved structure, placed in an amazing location and easily accessible by car. There is plenty of parking lots nearby so relax and enjoy the visit.

Active Lighthouses are distinguished by their painted pattern, and the color and timing of the light. This stretch of beach has seen the demise of many ships over the centuries. The most recent was the MV Eldia in 1984. Later pulled off the beach the ship went to the scrapyard. Dawn presents the best lighting for photographing the lighthouse.

Yesterday being a warm day, we chose to beach it out in Cape Cod. Eager to catch a beautiful sunset, we rushed to Nauset Light Beach just in time before the sky turned orange and pink. Such sights leave us tongue tied. So we'll let the picture do the talking 😉
