âIdeally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. â

My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. â
âI always stay at Ormonde House when I visit the new forest and it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who are always willing to stash my bag after I check out but before my train out). So much love to everyone at Ormonde House. I recommend it to friends but I also love to keep this little gem to myself!â

âAll very good ,staff excellent as are grounds and location.The only thing that could be improved on is having a pillow menu and perhaps a mini fridge in the room .â
