“We stayed a couple of nights. The cottage was comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. Cell coverage was patchy but that was no surprise as we had been warned about this. I am 6'7" and did have trouble with the low doorways on occasion - especially when returning from the excellent pub just down the road.Be aware that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through the other bedroom - so if you want a little privacy that may be an issue. “Bed was broken, one shower’s hot water didn’t work, main water heater didn’t work, one room was too small for the closet/cabinet to even open, minimal towels available, no shampoo or bath soap, and grass and weeks were almost two feet tall. Host was generally responsive but this way too much to deal with on a short stay.”

“Mini Sainsburys and post office were within yards away and very useful. I would have liked a few more small shelves in bathroom and I couldn’t even see myself in the mirror in the lounge so couldn’t understand what it was there for (maybe for decorative purposes!). Nice and warm and bed very comfortable.
