Close-to-it-All / Free Pkng / 2 blocks to French Quarter & Frenchmen

The suite is located in the picturesque Marigny Triangle, 2 blocks from the French Quarter, 1 block from Frenchmen St. & 2 blocks from the streetcar. The building was recently converted from a warehouse that was used to make Mardi Gras floats, into modern Condos. It features private parking (see house rules), cool private balcony, community courtyard, exterior security cameras, keypad locks, 10 ft ceilings & a variety of coffee makers.

The Suite is 1,100 SF of modern space including 2 bedrooms with recently purchased new queen-sized premium hotel brand mattresses, 2 bathrooms and a sofabed. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private balcony while watching the horse carriage rides go by. The balcony opens up to a cozy living room with a wall-mounted TV. Open concept kitchen with bar table and stools, 2-burner Cooktop, and Toaster Oven. One off-street parking spot is available for midsized cars only of a certain size and must be reserved with us in advance. If your car does not fit, there should be plenty of street parking with a permit we can offer but must coordinate 24 hours before arrival or parking accommodation is forfeited.

We, the hosts, are husband (from Louisiana) and wife (from Puerto Rico) Architects who designed, built, and live at our property in which we rent out 3 STR units. In 2021 we were awarded by AirB&B "The Most Hospitable Hosts in Louisiana", as determined by guest reviews over 1 year, and given to only one host in each state. We truly enjoy welcoming guests and sharing our special home, and we will do our best to make sure our guests have a memorable stay. My New NOLA Getaway

The house was exactly what the pictures show, beautiful home, clean, comfortable, and location was the best! Not too close to the loud noise but not too far to walk. Everything was within walking distance. Bourbon St, Fresh Market, and the French Quarter were all in walking distance. We will be visiting again and will definitely be staying here! Hostess communication was great. David was there if we ever needed anything or had a question on food or places to visit!

We’ve been to NOLA many times and each time we stay in a different neighborhood to immerse in the uniqueness and diversity of this beautiful place. This time we wanted to explore the Marigny triangle and Frenchman Street. This home was the perfect launching point! We loved the accessibility to nightlife, just 4 blocks away, the Quarter, and to all this bright neighborhood had to offer. Would book again without hesitation.

Great Location

Great Short Weekend Getaway

Our stay was wonderful! Our host Irelis was so friendly and gave us great tips on where to go and what to see. Her breakfast recommendation was incredible. The location is perfect, far enough from the French Quarter tourism to be peaceful and a short walk to join the festivities. Three adults - we had plenty of room and enjoyed sunning on the deck as well.

Cool place, great location!

Unique modern condo in Marigny, easy walk to the FQ and clubs on Frenchman St. Included off-street parking a huge plus. Spotlessly clean too! Great helpful hosts. Good setup for 2 couples, nice private space for each, or in our case, mom, dad, and adult kid. No dishwasher or oven, so not the place if you like to cook, but who comes to NOLA to cook? Very well equipped kitchen otherwise, especially for coffee, including Nespresso and pods. Also not for the mobility impaired, gotta get the luggage up to the 2nd floor via steps, and down spiral steps to the downstairs bedroom. Great showers and comfy beds. We had a great stay!

Overall very good. Parking space was very tight. Wish it had a full size coffee maker. Some people might have difficulty going up and down the spiral staircase to the lower level bedroom.

Perfect celebration weekend!!!

My wife turned 50 AND we had our 25th anniversary so we decided to celebrate in New Orleans. We found this house and didn't know what to expect but the process was easy, and the rate was competitive. The house was new and clean and has everything we needed. The location was very convenient. The owners were friendly and communicated clearly along with great advice while we were in the city. They even left us some personalized goodies to help us celebrate!

Reunion weekend in NOLA

Two couples returning home to New Orleans for our 45th high school reunion. Property was PERFECT. Beautifully designed and appointed, with our every need anticipated and handled. Owners responsive and friendly. Free parking a plus. Close proximity to French Quarter cannot be beat. Very quiet all-around and located in such a quaint neighborhood, close to restaurants, bars, and markets. All within easy walking distance. Don't think twice. Book your stay with these folks! You won't regret. We hope to be back again as our schedules permit.

The Best

The location was perfect for us—a short walk to French quarter, Frenchmen Street and yet very quiet. Ingenious design features that are functional & beautiful, down to the last detail. AC kept thing chill during the heat of the day & the balcony was wonderful in the evening. The place is flawless really, with some very thoughtful touches (used the umbrella 2x). Perfect Place

This was an absolute perfect place to stay for Mardi Gras. Everything was within walking distance and yet nestled far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The unit was beautiful inside and out. Having a balcony and on site parking was a huge bonus as well. David and Irelis are wonderful hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and also kept in touch with us while we were there to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Spot

I cannot say enough good things about our recent stay at this vrbo. The space was excellent for us with a separate space for each of us and a great balcony to enjoy morning coffee on. Irelis and David were very responsive and worked with us on our check-in times and even brought some extra sugar down. The location of this vrbo is amazing being close to restaurants and walking distance to Frenchman Street and everything in the French Quarter, but also provided the quiet residential space away from all the noise. I would highly recommend this property for anyone coming to New Orleans.

PHENOMENAL! Absolutely The Best VRBO in NOLA! Have used VRBO for many many many years and been visiting NOLA for most of my life and with friends in tow, typically stay in the City. Hands down, both 1919 Burgundy rentals I stayed in are best in the Crescent City! Irelis & Dave are amazing! Personable, attentive, friendly, but absolutely hands off even tho they live in same cool, fresh, modern building! Walk in greeting to a superb welcome basket & local beers. Suite A is modern, comfortable, homey, spacious, beautiful, well maintained and stocked with full kitchen -- great for enjoying dinner with group of friends. Lovely private back porch is wonderful for AM quiet time plus a shared enclosed private front porch area for privacy & bikes (if renting). The off-street parking is quite useful for smaller vehicles (Street parking pass available for larger cars). The Marigny location is quiet and perfect for walking into the quarter, access to local eateries, close to parks and bike rentals. Irelis and Dave, thank you for sharing your wonderful home!!!!! Look forward to my next rental visit at one of your Burgundy Suites!

Good location. Nice, clean, and modern space. The communications with owners were good - they were prompt and cordial. The apartment was smaller than we realized, so the living conditions were a little cramped. Also, the stairs up to the apartment and then back down to the master bedroom were more of a challenge than expected. All in all, a good experience.

Great for a Girls trip!!

This location comfortably hosted 5 women for a long weekend. We had such a great time staying here, it’s close walking distance to everywhere or a quick Uber drive away!
