The apartment was clean and spacious and very quiet. It is right at a tram stop and has good restaurants nearby, and convenient parking on an adjacent street. Checking in and out was easy and there were clear instructions about all procedures to follow.

This is a great place- conveniently located on the streetcar line with easy access to great restaurants by foot or streetcar. The beds and furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen is sparse if you want to cook, but is perfect for reheating leftovers, simple meals, drinks, etc. There wasn’t any detectable noise from the surrounding businesses. Parking was easy to come by on adjacent streets (free). We will come back here on future trips!

The location of this space is absolutely perfect. The listing calls out that it is behind a bar, but we did not experience any loud noise or funny business. The parking is street parking, but we always found a great spot right on the adjacent side street off St. Charles. The communication with the host was honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. David was so quick to respond and always provided a solution. The listing was as described. Highly recommend.

The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable as well. Although we didn’t cook during our stay, the kitchen was very nice and clean, with lots of amenities provided to get us through the first night or so. Also the inside of the refrigerator was spotless! We loved being steps away from the Saint Charles Ave trolley car stop too.The cottage was very quiet at night and we enjoyed relaxing on the front patio as well. And… the host was extremely responsive to our questions and needs! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage on St. Charles Avenue. The location was outstanding and made it easy for our family to explore the Garden District and other parts of New Orleans. Having the St. Charles streetcar stop nearby was a huge plus and allowed us to leave the car parked while we enjoyed the city. The cottage was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were noticeably high quality. We also appreciated how quiet the property was, especially given its convenient location on a major avenue.Parking was easier than expected. We had no trouble finding street parking on Euterpe Street right next to the cottage throughout our stay.Communication from the host was excellent. Directions, check-in information, and other instructions were clear and detailed, and the host was always quick to respond when we had questions.Overall, this was a perfect home base for our family. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to experience the Garden District and New Orleans.

Great cottage in great location!

We stayed with our teenage son. The cottage is great: it's right on St. Charles but tucked away behind another house so there's almost no street noise in the cottage. The cottage has a great kitchen and sitting area and the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The interior designs is cozy and fun. We would definitely stay again!

This property is a small cottage behind the main house. It was very clean and very quiet. There are many restaurants in walking distance, with 2 being right across the street. It was also a plus, being that you could ride the street cars, which has a stop right in the front of the house. It was only $3 per person, for 24 hours. Instead of driving our rental car, we rode the street cars. We even took it to go to the aquarium. I would definitely stay here again. And the host, David, was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Nice Carriage House

Overall, this was a very good place for our family of four. The property is very clean & had all the amenities we had hoped for. It is spacious with lots of closet & dresser space. It is well decorated, all the appliances are new & clean, and the beds & couches are super comfortable. We walked to the WWII museum (also excellent, BTW), amazing restaurants, and the French Quarter very easily from the property, which was super convenient. Our only issue was that the listing shows “parking available.” We looked on Google earth before the trip & saw a parking lot behind the property where we assumed we’d be parking. However, we were told to park on the street & remove all valuables from our car. While there was plenty of on street parking available, it was a bit of a haul getting our luggage in from the street, and it did not feel as safe as we had hoped for. However, we did feel safe in the carriage house, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to New Orleans in the property. We were visiting at the beginning of the NCAA tournament & were able to get all the games on the TVs throughout the house. It definitely gave us all the vibes of New Orleans we had hoped for with the safety & quiet we wanted as well. While we chose to walk rather than use the street cars, it was convenient having them run in front of the property. We would stay here again.
