Absolute gem - easy access to great food and City Park, along with two trolleys into the city. Hostess made our stay very cozy. Will book again, next time in the Big Easy.Would recommended finding more info on their website.

This was a sweet, roomy apartment. I loved the sun porch overlooking the neighbor’s tile roof. Lots of eclectic decor, great location! Lovely breakfast served on the prettiest handmade pottery. And very comfy bed.

Laura is a great host, the house is full of character, it’s walking distance to restaurants and City Park/museum, and the neighborhood is full of beautiful architecture.

My partner and I had such a wonderful timing staying here - we really cannot recommend the Laurel Bed and Breakfast enough. It's a hidden gem in the Mid-city neighborhood and is the perfect escape from the busy downtown. It has everything you need: quick commutes via Streetcar to virtually any part of the city, beautiful walks along City Park and local neighborhood eateries that were a joy to visit. Laura is an incredible host, very communicative and is dedicated to making sure your stay is special and inviting. If you are visiting New Orleans, you must stay here.

Lovely house. Very comfortable bed. Lovely sitting sunroom attached to bedroom. Convenient to buses or trams for getting to French Quarter. Breakfast is "Continental", but plentiful, great coffee!

The house is lovely and the hostess is kind and interesting. She/they have a lot of fascinating art. The bedroom was comfortable, the sitting room was particularly nice as it had a lot of light from many windows. The breakfast was not extensive but it was fine. good coffee. The neighborhood was pretty and full of those wonderful trees that New Orleans is famous for. We would return happily.

The Laurel is a gem in a perfect New Orleans setting. One of my favorite stays ever. The guest suite is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Laura is a gracious, welcoming, attentive hostess. I loved walking to Bayou St. John and being just a few blocks from the gorgeous live oaks in City Park with its Sculpture Garden, coffee and beignet, Art Museum. And there are several great restaurants in easy walking distance. A perfect perch for enjoying the best of New Orleans.
