“For a motel this is surprisingly good! New and super clean, good sound isolation. Non-smoking. Enough parking space. Not so much of a view as balcony is shared and you have people outside your window, but with curtains closed and AC on it is OK. A bit shady neighbourhood, cannabis shops and closed-down shops as well as semi-abandoned houses along the Nicole street towards the city. “Wonderful front desk staff who went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bathroom and shower. Room was very clean. Located close to the ferry which was convenient. ”

A lady who was seemingly having hallucinations was yelling at an invisible person outside, and asked to use my phone to call 911. She seemed mentally unwell. The motel staff seemed well-aware of her presence - they seem to manage the situation sensitively and as best they can, but this is good to know for anyone who considers staying there. ”

“It was an older motel that was in the process of remodeling and was lacking some of the furniture. I asked the manager for a microwave and he loaned his. He has only been there 2 1/2 months and working hard to improve the place. ”
