“Somewhat run down. The clock had stopped. There were holes in the wall where they used to be something hanging. The TV was not tuned into the network. One of the kitchen cabinet fronts was missing. There was no curtain over the glass front door so it was not possible to make the appartment dark in the morning. The shower drained incredibly slowly. I had to stop showering and wait before continuing The showerhead came off the hose because it was not probably fitted”

“Max and Mariella were excellent hosts from the beginning, welcoming us and providing directions from the airport. The apartment was clean and well maintained. They prepared the sofa bed for us, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the local recommendations as well as directions to the Olympic venues, and it was only about a 20 min walk to the Duomo.
