“We had a lovely long weekend at the Piddle Inn. Downstairs is just like a pub - all for us! Bar, games room and pub kitchen fantastic for a family group. I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. “I booked this house for my hen do and it was beyond amazing! The house is huge with so much character and more than enough space for 18 adults. “If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet and clean place to stay in the heart of the Dorset countryside with plenty of room, set up for walkers yet perfect for others, this is the place. We loved the easy access to a variety of places to visit and eat, the copious hot water, streaming tv ( so we could introduce my sister and husband to our favourite shows), our friendly hosts, some home cooked meals and the babbling brook at the end of the garden.”

“Very nice indeed. The only slight negative was the steep staircase that would need to be navigated from bedroom 3 and 2 upstairs if the bathroom was needed in the night. We had 2 small children who could use the master bedroom so ok. Otherwise very comfortable and well stocked. But I was worried about the Aga but found there was an electric oven as well.”

Fantastisk mat och atmosfär
"Puben är väldigt mysig och typiskt engelsk. Den har härlig atmosfär och är ett perfekt boende om man semestrar ute på den brittiska landsbygden. Maten är helt fantastisk. Vi åt både middag och frukost och båda måltiderna var mycket bättre än allt annat vi åt under vår vistelse. Även om man inte bor här är det definitivt värt att äta här om man är i närheten. Vi fick också allt vi behövde gällande rum och bekvämligheter. Enda minuset var att det inte var särskilt rent. Vår upplevelse var att det verkar slarvas en del med den "allmänna" städningen (typ golv, under säng, duschkabin). Däremot var allt det viktigaste, som toalett och sängkläder, spotless. De kom också och bäddade om varje dag vilket var en oväntad bonus."
