“The dog walk area is very small but there is plenty of other areas to walk your dog. The room was spotless. Breakfast had many options. The only negative thing we could say is one toilet had been clogged by a previous guest so it wouldnt flush. My husband fixed the toilet.”

“I absolutely loved my stay at The Merchant. The building is beautiful and full of character. The kitchen was impressively stocked with healthy options like overnight oats, chia pudding, yogurt parfait and even hot cider and chocolate chip cookies. I also loved the Nespresso coffee and tea selection. The living room was our favorite spot calm, cozy, and perfect for relaxing by the fireplace with tea before bed. Everything about the atmosphere felt peaceful and welcoming. The only small thing...

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”
