“The hotel was great, but I don’t think I got any VIP benefits”

“The hotel is fantastic! Actually it was so nice that we mostly stayed at the hotel. We stayed in the Mastersuite and the view was stunning. The garden and the pools together with the view is like being in paradise. Of course when you have windows open, in at least our rooms, you can hear music and activity from the jetty and village during day and evening but we didn't bother. When windows closed it's silent. But we loved to have the windows open and hear the sound of waves during nights....

“I stayed at the Marival for 2 weeks. The resort itself is great. They had shows every night in the theatre from the entertainment team and activities throughout the day by the main pool. Fernanda from the entertainment team was super helpful and friendly the whole time. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a family vacation.”

“Got food poisoning from the recerved dinner in Restaurant Tokyo. Food quality in general there was the worst we had in our 2 weeks stay in Mexico. After getting very sick, we were not able to even get water bottle from the reception to help. When approaching the staff and the manager about the situation, not a single sign empathy or concern about the patients health was shown. Only a statememnt of "you cannot prove it is our fault". Entertaiment staff were exceptional.”

“The building can use some update. Bathroom lighting is very poor, and rooms can use update. Bathroom towel and robe are very rough. b Buffet area outside needs improvement to protect from rain during rainy season. Three times we had to leave our food and area due to no protection. Location, area and especially staff were amazing !!!! Will be back!!!!”
