Hi Jessie: Thank you for the kind words! You were a great guest. I apologize that you thought the spa was not working! I was there to check on things during your stay and found the spa must have been running all night. It was nice and hot, and I turned it off. There is one lever for on and off, as described in the info sheet we provide. It must have just needed to be turned back on. Again, I am so .sorry. I know how disappointing it would be to not have the spa to enjoy. It is old, but never not working. We make sure of that, whatever it takes.

Yes Roberta thought she was renting Sanddollar when she was actually renting Seagull. She is my regular guest in Sanddollar. So we put her in Sanddollar and she was happy. It was good after that. Nell

Thank you for input. We may rule out the refrigerator door not closing properly and have already ruled out a leak in the ice maker since no water at all goes into that refrigerator. We are on it. Sorry. The sliding door in the bedroom needed to be put back on the rail.. A simple screw would have kept it from coming off if were made aware. So thank you for letting us know. And our apologies for the inconvenience. Regarding the traffic on the beach in front of the houses, we hear you. You were there during a holiday weekend, so it was worse. It is all finally scheduled to end in that location next year. There will still be traffic and in addition camping between Grand and Pier Avenues, but we will have a vehicle-free safe beach. Did you find the Captain's Deck and Spa? I worry that the chair by the door to that area kept you from finding them.

Thank you for your feedback on Seagull. I assumed you left early because of the huge storm. I am glad you found Seagull clean and that you enjoyed the beach access and fire pit. We certainly understand your safety concerns about vehicles on our beach, a practice which the state appears to be finally ending next year. I wish you had called me if there were ants in the kitchen or if the hot tub appeared dirty or not working. We would have addressed these issues immediately. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Hi Steve: Thanks for feedback. I got a report later that the spa valve was not closed tight enough, causing all the water to drain out. What a bummer, to not have the hot tub!!! Your four stars are generous given how important the hot tub is. I wish we had known about the problem at the time so we could have addressed the issue right away and made it right.
