“This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Trailside Hotel, and unfortunately this was a drastically different experience than the first. Upon arrival, the door to our room (room 101) was left opened which we thought was odd. After being in the room with the door closed for a while, we noticed a musty smell starting to fill the room. “Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was!
