“Beautifully located next to Mt Richardson DOC area with lots of forest walks at your doorstep. The property is huge and great for adventures for little kids (away from screens). The house is warm and beautifully recently decorated. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. There is no internet available and therefore no smart TV access (not necessarily a bad thing but notable). Would love to stay again in the summer months. ”

“We stayed for a month while relocating to NZ. After searching for a house to rent, I realize what a gem this house has been for us. I could have stayed for a year! I realize now that NZ homes are not well heated, however this home had a heat pump in every room. The last comment about groceries is just ridiculous - any VRBO in the world would not supply groceries. It was very easy in the neighborhood to walk or drive to a local store for necessities. There are parks for little kids or pets nearby...

“Great location, close enough to dip into Chch if wanted, but perfectly positioned to enjoy all North Canterbury has to offer, with wineries, rivers and beaches, a stones through away. Positioned in the heart of a friendly community with plenty of Cafe and dinning options within walking distance. Loved the private deck and backyard along with the bonus of the pool table for some friendly family competition. Highly recommend - great character!”

“We stayed here with our kids cycling team. Great space when you have a big group. The extra living space was perfect for the teens. There is a bit of noise from the airport and road.Will definitely stay here again.”

“This house made our holiday just perfect! Every room in the house was perfectly furnished, the couches were huge and comfortable, spot on for our family of 8 plus two more adults. The kitchen had EVERYTHING, catered for our number of people. All the appliances worked really well. The heating was fast and efficient. The beds were hotel quality and all the linen was 100% cotton, which personally is a sign of great hosting. The bathrooms were immaculate with fantastic showers with amazing water...
