Horrible condo

Things were not as pictured. There was a bucket with sand on it in the bedroom closet, the large rug in the living room had a corner turned up which is a trip hazard. The washing machine tore up the first night we called twice to get it fixed and no one ever came out. They wanted to move us 25 minutes ago to away condo. I ask if thry had another u it in the same building which they did and we had to move in the middle of our vacation because apparently nobody knew how to fix the washer. Don’t book this unit.

Lovely Condo

Beautiful condo and great balcony on the second floor of the complex. The view to the beach and water was perfect. The condo facility itself was small with only one small outdoor pool. The condo is as pictured including the balcony porch. Easy access to the beach. It got a little loud on the weekend due to surrounding guests both in the same complex and in the units next to Romar. However, it was relaxing and peaceful during the week.

Highly disappointed

The property was under construction the whole time we were there. Washer broken and never fixed therefore no clean towels , limited access to balcony. Room dirty upon arrival. You expect a relaxing vacation for the money you spend however it was not the case this go round.

Spring Break

The property was really clean. It was convenient to the beach. The beds were even comfortable. I have zero complaints about the property. Even though my daughter was included in the count for the number of guests and I was supposed to be able to purchase 2 parking passes, the property manager was extremely rude about her arrival. I wasn’t breaking any of the rules. Just wanted to spend some time with my daughter. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Great location, but outdated and unkempt property.

Great location and view! The unit seemed great at first, but many light bulbs were burned out, there was construction going on in the parking lot, 3 times we were interrupted by maintenence needing to demo the ceiling above each of the showers, we saw 2 roaches (one if which was so large we thought it was a crab), and the worst part was all of these units have these metal curtains on each balcony. At least three units had these curtains off of their track so all day and night you just heard this metal slamming into itself. We got very little sleep because of this. The other properties around ours could hear this so I'm sure it bothered them as well, not sure why maintenence didn't fix this issue. Overall these units are located in a great location but outdated and need updates. The cushions on all furniture was thin and worn down. We will definitely be returning to OB, but not staying at this property unless we see at the minimum the metal curtains have been fully removed from all units and updates are done.

Beautiful view!

The view was lovely from this spacious apartment. The only issue we had was with the sunshade that goes around the balcony. One of the panels was loose and very loud when whipping in the wind in the middle of the night. Beyond that small issue, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Nice condo

Although and older building, this condo is nicely updated and spacious. Second floor end unit is easily accessible near the stairs so no waiting on the elevator.

Accommodations were great and clean. We did have some possible problems with one of the tv's but no biggy. May not have been plugged in outlet. Weather was a bummer but no fault of the stay.

All about the view

My second stay at this beautifully decorated condo. Located right on the beach next to palm trees, on the 2nd floor makes this condo feel more like a beach house than a condo. Housekeeping is doing a good job of cleaning and appliances have been updated and are brand new.

Condo was not what was expected.

The condo looked great in the photos and the description, but just was not what was advertised! It was decorated very nicely, but most of the furniture was cheap and falling apart. Two small tables in the red and blue room were falling apart. There were only little small novelty lamps for light. Very dark. We had to open the blinds onto the public hallway during the daylight hours to be able to see and at night we had to use our cell phone flashlights to pick out clothes. There was only a very short hanging spot in an armoire to hang clothes, not long enough for adult clothes. We had to hang them in another bedroom. The closet had been turned into a half bath at some time. The pink bedroom was very cute for little girls, although some of the drawers were broken in the dressers and could have easily fallen out on us. The dryer did not work properly!! We would dry a load of towels for HOURS. We gave in and dried with beach towels most of the time. The dishwasher was not connected to the cabinet and would fall onto the floor when opened all the way. The vent over the microwave was broken and taped back into place and had come undone and was just hanging. There was a lamp in the living area with the shade completely broken off and hanging down around the lamp. There is a a little foyer type table in the walkway with the leg completely broken off and just propped back on the leg. The leg fell off completely the first time it was bumped. Could have been a terrible accident! The tile floors were nice but filthy! Our feet were black from walking on them and the carpet was filthy also. Kaiser called and said someone could come at 5pm on the second day and mop the floors. This would not possibly work when eight people are in the condo at 5pm trying to get ready to go out to dinner. My husband and I have been going to Orange Beach for 30 years, taking multiple children and grandchildren and this has to be the worst beach condo experience we have had! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
