Disney World 2 Miles! Familj lägenhet

Vår stora 2 sovrum och 2 badrum condo ligger på första våningen i byggnaden en på Windsor Hills Resort.

Med över 1100 kvadratmeter boyta kommer du att känna alla bekvämligheter i hemmet, vi erbjuder allt du behöver för din perfekta semester.

Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng. Det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng och en enkelsäng. Alla sovrum i vår lägenhet har takfläktar och TV.

Det finns en skärmad i Lanai där du kan sitta eller gå ut och njuta av friska luften. Matsalen rymmer bekvämt 6 gäster. Köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att förbereda ett litet mellanmål eller en gourmetmat. Alla rätter, kokkärl, redskap finns för din användning. Naturligtvis finns det en kaffebryggare (regelbunden och Keurig), brödrost, mixer, mikrovågsugn, spis, kylskåp och diskmaskin.

Pack ljus eftersom det finns också en full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare i vår lägenhet.

Det stora rummet har två stora soffor, perfekt för att titta på TV, läsa en bok eller bara slappna av. Det finns en 40-tums SMART-TV, med en DVD-spelare. Plus, gratis säkert trådlöst internet och gratis lokalt och långdistanssamtal.

The air was off when we got there and the place was very damp and musty. You cannot change the temperature settings on the air it is set at 72 with no options to change it. Our biggest problem was the sliding door lock is damaged and will not lock. I called the owner at 10 pm when we got there to see if there was a “trick “ to locking it and owner never responded. I discovered that the broom handle without the brush on was a perfect fit for the door slide so we felt secure. The townhouse was well stocked and checkout was a dream but they need a dehumidifier to fight the musty smell and the door fixed

This was absolutely the best vacation place we have ever stayed at. Everything was just absolutely wonderful from the accommodations which were very clean and comfortable to the amenities such as the amazing Pool, Water slide crafts for Kids and the Food Service Our Host was super easy to communicate with and very responsive. We are looking to do this as a yearly vacation!!

The host was available when needed.The condo was ok. It had what we needed. The areas that need attention. The beds aren’t comfortable. King is saggy on one side the queen too hard. Slider needs work and a number of slats are missing from the blinds.Patio is tiny, on the shady side and faces a wall.

This condo was dirty, the carpet is disgustingly filthy, has mold around the baseboards in the bedrooms, the condo smelled like mildew right when you open the door. . I took pictures of everything and sent to host and was told that nothing she could do about it and would tell the cleaning people did next time. I live in Florida and this condo needs attention. The pictures and description are very inaccurate.

Great stay! Wheelchair accessible

I have a daughter that uses a wheelchair so booking places is usually difficult. The condo was very accessible as we had space to move her around inside. The splash pad/pool area was very accommodating. The staff let us take her manual chair on the splash pad without a problem. Also the pool has a walkin area and we literally wheeled her in wheelchair and all. After making our reservation, we decided that we wanted to add an extra day. I messaged Rose and she was great with adding the day to our reservations.

Family Disney Stay

We had a great stay on our Disney trip. Amazing location 10 mins from the parks. Condo was great and the owner was great to work with. We love Windsor Hills and have stayed at several units there. All have been great.

Windsor Hills winter rental Jan-Apr 2024

Good property for a short family vacation. Not geared for a long term winter rental. Internet service was excellent. TV choices good. When we needed to contact our host she was quick to respond. Unit could use refreshing, again was adequate for short term but not for long term. Balcony blinds need replacing. Pool very crowded from early morning on with no enforcement of the resort rules about not saving seating. It was not adequate for capacity. Resort very convenient to shopping and entertainment. Excellent walking area which was important to us. Store on property a good addition. Well stocked, pleasant staff.

Great location and value

The location was perfect, just about 3 miles to Disney parks. There were just a couple of minor defects like missing blinds and two outlets not working in the kitchen. But, it was clean and well set up. Beds were comfortable and our family of four had plenty of space. The community itself is nice and we loved the pool(no deeper than 4ft though, loved the water slides and Splash pad area. Also, enjoyed the little market/grill located at the pool area. There was a game room, but we didn’t have time to check it out. We would stay here again.

Close to everything

My favorite part of the stay was the "trash fairy" that comes to get your trash! What a great service. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. It was located close to Universal and the Convention center which was were we spent most of our time. We enjoyed the arcade room and pool! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Okay for what we needed

Unit was great for a short stay for a work conference near by. Only bad thing is that every time we tried to go to the resort pool it was completely crowded. Tried going 2 different days and both times we had to give up. If you don’t get there at 6am, you will definitely not have a place to sit.

Missing a few things

The condo was very clean and a great size for our family. There was a large gap where the vertical blinds were missing slats that made privacy on the first floor a concern. I reached out to the property owner right away after we arrived and I was told this was damage caused by previous guests at the condo. Upon arrival there was only one roll of toilet paper in the entire condo for our family of four. There were no dish clothes, face cloths, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags and just 4 towels to do us for 9 days. I did buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pucks and laundry detergent. I ended up buying 4 towels at Walmart as there is a pool on site and saved the four towels provided for us for showering. I messaged the property owner again the day before our final day with a few other questions, and to let them know that we still had not heard from anyone regarding dish clothes (in particular). Later that afternoon, on day 8 of our stay, someone arrived with dish clothes, dish soap and paper towels for us. Aside from the things mentioned above, it was a decent condo, a good place for a small family to have as a home base during a vacation. I do hope the property owner will consider upgrading the window covering before the next guests arrive. And I hope the small things, (that end up being bigger things, like toilet paper, dish cloths etc.) that were over looked to give you all the comforts of home, will be reviewed and corrected/considered.
