Spacious House, Could Use Some Updates
Overall our stay was good. The size of the home was great for our family. We were there for two weeks so it was nice to have some space and the second living area upstairs was a bonus. The good things: Size of house, spacious living room area, in house laundry facilities, the community pool was a hit with our teenagers, the pool in the backyard was a bonus but it was too cold for us to use this time of year. The things that could be better: the bathrooms upstairs are very dated, the ensuite shower door is about to fall off, the floors were filthy (after a few hours my daughters white socks were black on the bottom) so we mopped them ourselves, we had issues with missing some basic items for the kitchen like bowls and cutlery (but to their credit, the management company responded quickly and went out and bought new stuff and delivered it), the dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes properly and was growing mold in it. Also be aware that there is only one ‘parking spot’ at the back of the house where you parallel park along the walkway/driveway, as do all the neighbours around you. We had issues with people parking in our spot twice. Once it was the next door neighbour who moved his truck but on New Year’s Eve we came back at 1am to a car in our spot and had to knock on neighbours doors and still couldn’t find the person. We had to call security and they came and towed the car. It was a good stay but all in all there were a few areas for improvement
