Short stay

My impression of this property is that it has a good location, the area is quiet and the check in process was easy. The property itself needs a little TLC. Check-in was at 4:00 p.m., when we arrived at 5:10 p.m. the property was still being cleaned by two cleaners. Upon walking in the first thing I noticed was the dirty marks on the walls throughout the home. The carpet on the stairs and through the bedrooms were also dirty and worn. The sectional couch in the living room springs are worn, which makes it difficult to get up from and also dirty, I flipped a few of the cushions over that were covered with stains. The coffee table in the living room is also broken on one side. The majority of the toilets are hard to flush because they have the buttons to press on the top and the button on one side is stuck in a down position. The refrigerator was leaking water in the bottom and the majority of the dining and barstool chairs were dirty. The kitchen is missing a light fixture and some of the bedroom furniture was dirty as well. The garbage men came to empty the garbage yesterday and only took what we had used and left the trash I guess from the previous booking because it was not bagged properly and sitting in water I assume, which was smelling when you opened it. My family and I ultimately cut our trip short a day due to the conditions of the house. I’ve also reached out to the management company and made them aware.

Would not recommend

This property needs some major TLC and looking at the reviews from a year ago or longer it appears that the issues are still the same. For example, the pendant globe on the island is still broken. That showed up in a complaint from a year ago. Here are some other findings:1. We found a very large roach in the shower and one of the nightstands in the second floor bedroom was covered in ants one morning. They were also climbing up the curtain. 2. Bottom drawer in the fridge is still broken. This shows up in an older complaint3. Never stayed in a rental where you had to supply your own wash cloths and dish towels. 4. Hot tub does not get hot5. Screens in all of the screen doors were all ripped and torn. 6. Issues with almost all of the TV’s in the house7. If you want to use the shuffle board, make sure to travel with your own shuffle board salt. Otherwise it is just for show8. Couches are old and horribly uncomfortable9. Mattresses are covered with a plastic cover under the sheet. So it is like you are sleeping on a tarp. 10. Carpet is disgustingOnly good thing I can say about it is that the management company answered my emails quickly.

Family vacation/disney stay

Stay was well only complaint was the shower liners was a little moldy need to be changed and furniture needs to be updated other that it was a nice stay. Very quick to respond and help with the needs or the house.

Due for a update

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious accommodation. However, for a large house that can accommodate 20 people we were underwhelmed with practicality. We did a large grocery for the week before arriving. Come to find out that there is only one small fridge (half freezer/half fridge). Another downside is was the hot tub. They charge 50$/day for heating and the pool was warmer than the hot tub. ACO came to verify the temperature and confirmed that the hot tub was 90°. It was quite frustrating. Positives were the large bedrooms, nice dining area and the outdoor living space.

Spring Break

The house was exactly as listed. Gated quite neighborhood short drive to many convenience stores. The only negative thing we killed a couple of roaches in the kitchen area, living room sectional kind of worn out, one of the upstairs showers water wasn’t draining out to good. Overall I’ll give it 4 stars.

Terrible Experience

At first we did not have problems with the few minor details that we had to clean when we first arrived like crumbs and sticky substance on the table and a used bathing suit undergarment protective liner lying on the bedroom floor. We understand that things happen and not everyone has the same level of cleaning or care that we would as a home owner. But then the list kept growing. There were obvious damages like the covers over the lights in the kitchen, door handles on the inside of the bathroom falling off, the oven door not closing, the coffee table leg falling off, the living couch having no support (you had to roll off of it to get out of it because the support had collapsed), and the carpet being terribly stained in all high traffic areas. Again, it is a well-used rental property. I was most disgusted by the presence of roaches when we started to cook dinner. I notified the property management and did not get a response about these issues. Instead, I received a bill for damaged linen and towels when I checked out. I was told that it was not listed with my damaged items before check out so I had to replace them. I contacted VRBO about this situation and received no response either. My ticket was closed and I was asked to complete a survey about my experience.

It Worked for Us

The property was nice, the pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The house had plenty of space for everyone. We stayed for a week and there was only enough dishwashing tabs for one load and the same for the washer and very little toilet paper. We had to buy additional items during our stay which was fine however for the price of the rental you would think these items would be available right in tge home. Also there were no wash cloths only towels and some rooms had only hand towels rolled up on the bed to dry with from the shower. Ive stayed in several rentals and this one lacked a lot of items that you would have thought would be included. Location was great and community where the home was located was nice.

Excellent Floorplan

This home had plenty of room and an excellent kitchen to cook meals for large families! The pool was very warm, and the floorplan was spaced for our large group to be together but able to separate! Also, clubhouse hot tub was amazing.

Sonoma Friend Vacation

It was a great place to host a large group for a friend vacation! Every room had their own bathroom and everyone had more than enough space. Check in and check out were very easy.

Roomy for a group but needs major upkeep

Pros: roomy and perfect for large groups. Cons: worn out home! Broken furniture, broken towel bar, missing light above the island, carpet needs to be replaced, walls very dingy! The dishwasher looks like it’s about to fall out. The towels were wet when we arrived (folded as if clean but clearly taken out of a dryer too soon). Paid to heat the pool/hot tub and the hot tub never got hot! The pool was warmer than the hot tub all 3 days of our stay. Great if you are looking for a spacious house and can look past the other issues!

Beautiful house

We stayed 5 nights, beautiful property, well located, excellent pool. I just missed a little more cleaning in the bathrooms. They didn’t had pool towels. The rest was great! Excellent mattresses and pillows. Clean and good bedding. I highly recommend it!

Satisfied In Spite Of

This house was very nice and spacious. However, as nice as the house was the amenities were not up to par. The wrap around couch in the main sitting and TV area was horrible. When you sit in it you shrunk almost to the floor and needed help gating up. It needs to be replaced immediately. The TV’s need to be upgraded. Many of the remotes did not work and the cable was nonexistent. All television was through streaming and no live tv. Finally, the carpet was extremely dirty it also needs to be replaced immediately. This is a very nice house that the owners need to put some tender loving care into by making some much needed upgrades. My family enjoyed our stay at this house as we just determined to have an enjoyable time in spite of the issues mentioned.

overall, the house is great for our group of eight adults. plenty of room for everyone. it was nice that everyone had their own bathroom. just a couple minor issues - the door on the stove doesn't shut completely, hence the oven light stays on all the time. there appears to be a missing shelf in the refrigerator. and the bottom drawer in the refrigerator was broken. and the carpet on the stairs and in all the upstairs bedrooms is old and needs to be replaced. it wasn't necessarily dirty, but you could tell it is old and beyond its useful life. you expect better for this kind of a property. but overall everyone enjoyed their stay and the house was very comfortable for everyone.

A great stay

The property was great. The payment process was strange and glitchy… I had to repeat it multiple times, which made me nervous, but I am glad I followed through because the property was just as shown in photos, which I think was a great value given how many guests it can accommodate. Thank you ACO!
