Great Vacation Home

I thought the place was very accommodating. We had 9 people staying and used all the bedrooms. It would have been nice to have like a baking sheet or pizza pan. We were always doing the towels maybe a few more would have been nice. The tv in family room never was fixed so glad the repair man moved the small one from the game room into the family room. We spent alot of time there.

Problems while we were there.

Pool and hot tub were cold. At the end of our stay the hot tub stunk. The showers were cold at 5:30 AM. The water heaters are either too small or need replacement.

Cleanest House we’ve ever rented!

2nd time renting this property. Check in was smooth with no problems. It was unbelievably clean on arrival and very comfortable. Has a Keurig for those who are interested and kitchen was well supplied with dishes and pots. . Management company very attentive when called. Maintenance guys are very pleasant and really try to help fix the problem (Howard was the nicest guy). The neighborhood is really lovely. Great walks in early evening with my daughter and grandkids. Though you pay for pool heat, it is so worth it. Honestly the best heated pool we’ve had after renting numerous properties. All in all definitely a house worth renting. Some of the issues because nothing is perfect: No instruction manual in the house in re to garbage days etc (easily rectified by calling Villa Direct). the controls for the AC in the game room were no where to be found and were supposed to be ordered but we never got them, also game room and equipment needs to be revamped. Keep in mind that many renters do not take good care of the property while renting and there is some minor aesthetic things I did notice from our last renting experience in the house. The alarm system not functional due to disconnect, but to be honest it is really not needed in this community. We were not concerned at all. It is a good house to rent. Perhaps some of those things will be rectified for the next renter. Not a game changer. Thank you Michele and Villa Direct for a great second stay.

Our family trip to Disney World

When looking for a house to rent for our family vacation, I came across the property on VRBO. It truly was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was lovely, close to DisneyWorld and spacious. I particularly loved that my 3 grown sons and wives each had a large king bedroom with each having adjoining bath for their privacy. Kids rooms were great. The whole resort was very pretty. Everyone loved having our own pool and game room. The only issue we had was that the coffee pot carafe leaked, and soon after I called, it was replaced. I would definitely rent this house again!

Overall good

Perfectly located, 15 mins from the Disney parks, close to Target & Publix. Only neg thing to say is that it needed a good deep clean, it was very dusty… I’m thinking it may have been awhile prior to us before anyone was there. Other than that, everything was great.

Air

The air wasn't working properly and I contact the property manager they said they would send someone , no one came. So we had no air the entire weekend we had to open doors to cool off. My son woke up the next morning with bites on him looks to me to be from bed bugs, so we couldn't use that room . The freezer was working properly because the ice cream would not freeze. We have stayed at this location before and never no problems but this time we had inquired a few that was disappointing!

Little things that matter…

The house was very nice. Only problem was I had to go to Walmart to get paper towels and bathroom paper and dish detergent laundry detergent trash bags. I have rented other places that had at least sample or small laundry detergent and extra paper Products. And pool as cold I know it was August but underground pool could have used some heat especially in jacuzzi at night. So we didn’t use it and that’s why I got the house I did.

Palm Tree Vacation Home

This property was beautiful! A perfect touch of Palm trees and greenery throughout the house. There was more than enough space for my family of 6. The resort was nice and it's location was close to many stores and restaurants as well as attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Home

Family had an enjoyable time. We had a Saturday to Saturday rental. However we had from the time we got there the clothes dryer was not working. I made numerous calls and texting with the management company and it took till Thursday afternoon to get it fixed. Needless to say it was challenging with drying our clothes. Otherwise the home was beautiful and comfortable.

Best vacation ever!!

I must say, this is our 5th stay in Emerald Island and this house is a keeper. It took us a long time to say that. It is just as it looks in the photos (except maybe due to photo shop and elongated view, rooms look a bit bigger) Management company Villa Direct is great, very professional and on top of things as soon as you call (we had minor issues) Beds are comfortable, which means alot. Pool area was great and nicely warmed if you choose pool heat. We just had a great time, with no real complaints. Thank you for a great vacay from chilly NY. See you next year!

Very nice and perfect

This was the perfect house for our vacation. I would and will stay here again. We where happy to have picked the perfect home. I left it in great shape because we plan to go back. My one thing was my airline sent us a false flight change and we had to leave fast I think I left a cup and glass outside on the table. This was the perfect place for our family to enjoy florida it was a central hub for all.

Fabulous Holiday Villa

Just returned after spending two weeks fabulous weeks, everything was as it was pictured. Plenty of room for all eleven of us and would definitely recommend. Perfect base for all the theme parks and the kids loved the pool area. Everything you need is supplied and was very happy with the service provided.

Very nice, clean, comfortable, close to everything.

We loved the spacious living quarters, nice convenient kitchen and wonderful heated pool. A total of 6 adults stayed for 5 days, and we still remained friends after our stay! That says a lot about the comfort of the condo. Beds were cozy and comfy with just the right amount of top covers. We have stayed in condos in the past that were not adequate for 3 couples to share for 5 days, but we never felt cramped during our stay. I would recommend this for any traveling family, large or small to enjoy this convenient location to Disney World.

Homes exactly as seen on website.

We visited disney with a family of 14. The property and home was exactly as described on website down to each small detail. The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. It was like staying in your own home away from home. The Resort staff was professional. My family/kids enjoyed disney but the best part of the trip was being able to rest comfortably and safely. We looked at hotels and compared rates prior to choosing a vacation home and concluded our savings was so much greater and we had all the comforts of home for our five night stay. My mother and I did not go out to the parks with my adult children and their kids as much only because this was our 6th time around with the disney world family vacation. :J and we enjoy seeing our kids and grandchildren have a great time. You know when my family and I was researching reviews on different vacation homes, we were a little concerned as to whether reviews on these vacation home websites were genuine. Well, now here I am with an opportunity to write a real review and I can only say, In short, you can not go wrong with this home. This was a fantastic home. I rate it for its location (10 minutes from disney parks), cleanliness, decor, amenities, professional service from both owner and resort. My family thanks you for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We will most certainly stay again during our next disney vacation. Warmest regards, Donna
