“The house was not cleaned by check in. We had to wait an hour for it to be cleaned. Communication with the host was difficult. The place was fine for a night or two, but not great. The stairs were very steep and only bathroom was downstairs. None of the doors closed without difficulty. The bathroom door would not close/lock. Bedrooms very small. Kitchen was updated and fairly nice. Front room very small with uncomfortable furniture. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay here very much. The hosts were incredible: they responded quickly, in both word and action, to all our questions and concerns. They were wonderful to deal with.The house is on a quiet street just west of downtown Oxford. For us, the location was perfect. There are 5 bedrooms and sleeping for 11 people but only seating for 5 at the most in the living area and no table inside. It would be ideal if you're just sleeping there but we cooked breakfast and then had to sit outside in shifts.”

“All was good except for a minor mix up regarding the lockbox. We had been mailed the wrong code, and it took a while on the phone to correct. The facilities were good and looked quite new. The bath/shower was good, although the bath is rather high off the floor (as so often in renovated houses) and although our family did not mind, it might not suit a frail elderly visitor with limited mobility.”
